Sub: Affiliation - The Tamil Na.du Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai – Nursing
Degree Course – Nursing Institution situated at Salem District - Appointment of
the University Inspection Commission to consider the grant of Continuance of
Provisional Affiliation for the academic year 2024 - 2025 – Reg.

I am to inform that, you have been appointed to serve as the Convenor/ Member of the
Inspection Commission to assess and report on the infrastructural, teaching and other facilities
available at the Nursing College situated at Salem District to consider the grant of Continuance
of Provisional Affiliation order for conducting the Nursing Degree Course for the academic year
2024 - 2025. Senior Faculty will be the Convenor.

2) I am to request you to carry out the assessment on 18.12.2024 and send the report to the
University immediately.

3) The name of the Nursing College to be inspected by you will be intimated through e.mail on
18.12.2024 at 6.00 a.m.

4) The Inspection Commission to send your report, in the Inspection Report format (which will
be handed over to you by the Institution at the time of Inspection) alongwith the documentary
evidences for each and every information furnished in the inspection report, duly signed by the
Principal of the college and countersigned by the Inspection Commission. All the columns
should be filled by the Members of the Inspection Commission without any omission. If any
corrections made in the report should be attested and countersigned by the Inspection
Commission and the Inspection report should be sent to this University by the Members.
5) furnish the report on the rectification of past deficiencies, in the enclosed statements ;

6) Record your specific observations in a separate sheet on the teaching and infrastructural
facilities available in the Institution.

7) Attest the Affidavit furnished by the teaching faculty appointed as per the revised norms of
Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and ensure that the documentary evidences for the
information alongwith the Form-16 of every Teaching Faculties.

8) Video to be taken during the Affiliation Inspection and the same to be submitted along with
inspection report.

9) Faculties Group Photo to be submitted alongwith the Inspection Report.

10) Own Hospital / Parent Hospital / Tie-Up Hospital arrangements: Details of the Hospitals
with total No. of beds shall be inspected thoroughly and furnish the document evidences
alongwith Inspection Report.

11) Further, the Government Permission for PHC (Urban & Rural) with number of beds shall be
furnished.

12) Follow the revised norms prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, in respect
of Teaching faculties.

13) Furnish the print out of the Inspection Report format available in the University Website, to
the Inspection Commission at the time of Inspection.

14) Format for Teaching Staff Statement to be filled.

15) All the documentary evidence in respect of Teaching faculties should be in sprial binding.

16) Institution cannot grant leave for any of the faculty. The faculty on leave are not considered
in position.

17). If the Convenor or Member is unable to serve in the Inspection Commission, the fact may
immediately be informed to the University by Fax/ Mail.

18).The T.A Bill for preferring the claim after conducting the inspection and after submission of
the Inspection Report is enclosed herewith.
