I, Mr. A Ponmozhi (Reg. No. 240410401035 ) S/o M.Arjunan. Aged 40 years, residing at No.2/428-
A,Hospital street, Thirumangalam village, Sriperumbudur taluk, Kanchipuram district – 602106,
having been admitted to School of Law, St.Joseph University, Chennai 602105, (declared a State
Private university established Under Tamil Nadu Private University Act,2019), Following contents for
affidavits:-
1) I understand that my admission is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria, submission of original
certificates for verification and payment of Tuition Fees.
2) I hereby solemnly aware and undertake that, if after proper scrutiny, it is found that the particulars
furnished by me are not correct and not based on records, then I will forfeit the admission, no matter at
what stage of the course I will be in at that time.
3) I hereby undertake to present the original documents for verification immediately upon demand by
the concerned authorities of the Institute.
4) I hereby solemnly aware and undertake that I am not employed in any organization/ College/
Polytechnic/Company in any capacity either in full time or Part Time/daily wages from the date of
admission to the above program.
5) I hereby solemnly affirm that, if found guilty of ragging, I am liable for punishment according
to School of Law, St.Joseph University Regulations, without prejudice to any other criminal action
that may be taken against me under any penal law or any law for the time being in force.
6) I hereby declare that I have not been expelled or debarred from admission in any institution in the
country on account of being found guilty of, abetting or being part of a conspiracy to promote,
ragging; and further affirm that, in case the declaration is found to be untrue, I am aware that my
admission is liable to be cancelled.
7) I understand that I shall be eligible to go to subsequent semester only if I earn sufficient attendance
and payment of prescribed Tuition Fee as contained in School of Law, St.Joseph University
regulation from time to time, I am also aware that I must earn 75% of consolidated attendance for
appearing for the University Examination and I should have paid the Examination fee and registered
for the examination.

8) I understand that if in case I cancel my admission I abide by the School of Law, St.Joseph
University Fee Refund Policy that is based on School of Law, St.Joseph University’s fee refund
policy.

9) I understand that the amount paid for obtaining Prospectus, application fee, processing fee, Entrance
Fee, late fee, Program Transfer Fee, Migration fee etc. is non-refundable under all circumstances,
unless in specific are prescribed as refundable.
10) I hereby, promise to abide by the admissible rules and regulations, concerning discipline,
attendance, etc., of School of Law, St.Joseph University, as in force from time to time and
subsequent changes/ modifications/amendment made there to. I acknowledge that, School of Law,
St.Joseph University has the authority for taking punitive actions against me for violation and/or non-
compliance of the same.
11) I, hereby declare that, I will neither join in any coercive agitation/strike for the purpose of forcing
the authorities of School of Law, St.Joseph University to solve any problem, nor I will participate in
any activity which has a tendency to disturb the peace and tranquility of life of St.Joseph University
School of Law campus and/or its Hostel premises.
12) I, hereby declare that, I shall be solely responsible for my involvement in any kind of
undesirable/in disciplinary activities outside the campus and shall be liable for punishment as per the
law of the land. I, further understand that, School of Law, St.Joseph University shall in no way
provide any support to me and will not be held responsible for my any such action.
13) I hereby acknowledge that I shall be liable for expulsion forthwith on being found involved in or
committing any offence cognizable and punishable under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Act 1985.
14) I also declare that I am not suffering from any serious/contagious ailment and/or any
psychiatric/psychological disorder.
15) I am fully aware that in case of violation of any of the above provisions my admission shall stand
cancelled and the decision of School of Law, St.Joseph University shall be final and binding on me.

(hereinafter called the “Regulations”) carefully read and fully understood the provisions contained in
the said Regulations.
2) I have, in particular, perused clause 3 of the Regulations and am aware as to what constitutes
ragging.
3) I have also, in particular, perused clause 7 and clause 9.1 of the Regulation and am fully aware of
the penal and administrative action that is liable to be taken against me in case I am found guilty of or
abetting ragging, actively or passively, or being part of a conspiracy to promote ragging.
4) I hereby solemnly aware and undertake that
(a) I will not indulge in any behavior or act that may be constituted as ragging under clause 3 of
the Regulations.
(b) I will not participate in or abet or propagate through any act of commission or omission that
may be constituted as ragging under clause 3 of the Regulations.
5) I hereby affirm that, if found guilty of ragging, I am liable for punishment according to clause 9.1 of
the Regulations, without prejudice to any other criminal action that may be taken against me under any
penal law or any law for the time being in force.
