b) This happened to me when I was traveling in Paris for the first time. I had just
arrived, and I was so excited to explore the city. I decided to take a walk to see the
Eiffel Tower, but I hadn’t downloaded a map on my phone because I thought it
would be easy to find. So then I started walking in what I thought was the right
direction. After about 20 minutes, I realized I wasn’t seeing any landmarks.
Suddenly, I found myself in a quiet neighborhood where nobody seemed to speak
English. At that moment, I started to feel worried. I tried to ask a passerby for help,
but I couldn’t understand their directions. Eventually, I decided to enter a small
café and ask the staff for assistance. They were so kind and gave me a map. It
turned out that I was walking in the complete opposite direction! In the end, I
found my way to the Eiffel Tower, and it was beautiful. But I felt so relieved after
the adventure.

c) This summer, I traveled to Gdańsk, Poland, as part of an academic mobility
program, and it was an incredible experience. When I arrived at the airport, I was
both excited and nervous about starting this new chapter. After I had checked in
my luggage and passed through security, I spent some time reviewing my
presentation for the upcoming workshop. The flight was smooth, and as the plane
took off, I couldn’t help but think about the opportunities waiting for me in
Gdańsk. When we landed, the city welcomed me with sunny skies and a refreshing
breeze. After collecting my luggage, I headed straight to the university dormitory,
where I was going to stay. Over the following weeks, I attended lectures,
collaborated with students from different countries, and explored the beautiful old
town of Gdańsk. The experience not only enriched my academic knowledge but
also left me with unforgettable memories of this vibrant Polish city.
