health. Activity
Instructions:
1. Scenario:
“Your town is experiencing increased health problems such as allergies and
stress. The local park has lost many of its native plants and animals due to new
construction. The mayor has asked for ideas to improve both the environment
and the health of the community.”
2. Group Brainstorm and Planning: Group according to group reporting.
Each group will:
A. Identify Problems: Discuss and list the main issues in the scenario related to
biodiversity, environment, and health.
B. Propose Solutions: Brainstorm and write down at least 3 realistic actions the
community could take to increase biodiversity and improve health (e.g., planting
native trees, creating green spaces, organizing community clean-ups).
C. Explain Connections: For each solution, explain how it would benefit both the
environment and the health of the society. Use arrows or a simple diagram to
show the cause-and-effect relationships.
D. Prepare a Poster or Brief Presentation: Summarize your action plan and
explanations in a creative poster or a 3-minute group presentation.
