ABSTRACT
This internship report highlights the practical training and industrial exposure
gained during my internship at Layercodes Technologies, a web development
company based in Chennai. The internship was conducted from 03-02-2025 to
30-04-2025 as a part of the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics
Engineering) curriculum under Anna University.
The primary focus of the internship was to understand and participate in the Web
Development Life Cycle, including front-end and back-end technologies. During
the training period, I was assigned to the Research & Development (R&D) and
Web Development departments, where I gained hands-on experience in modern
web development tools and frameworks like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js,
Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
A major outcome of this internship was the successful completion of a Job
Search Portal project, which enabled me to understand real-world application
development, teamwork, version control systems (Git), and deployment tools.
The experience helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and
practical implementation.
This internship served as a strong foundation for my future in the IT industry and
allowed me to apply my engineering knowledge in a professional setting.
