Project Electronic Research Archiving System (ERAS): A Storage Management for Academic Research

ABSTRACT

This research study, titled “Project ERAS (Electronic Research Archiving

System): a Storage Management for Academic Research,” aims to address the challenges

faced by researchers in storing and managing academic documents. Researchers often

encounter difficulties in locating reliable references and in preserving their studies for

future use. To solve this, the study focuses on developing an efficient and reliable

electronic archiving system that not only organizes research but also ensures that it can be

easily accessed and referenced by future scholars.

The researchers designed Project ERAS to serve as both a repository for academic

documents and a user-friendly reference tool. The system allows researchers to

seamlessly upload their studies while enabling others to access organized and relevant

research from the past. By creating this centralized and efficient platform, the researchers

aim to foster collaboration, preserve knowledge, and promote academic growth across

generations.

The study involved 104 respondents from General Tinio National High School,

whose participation was essential in evaluating the system’s effectiveness. Their

feedback helped ensure that the system meets the needs of real-world users, making it

practical and reliable for academic environments. The researchers paid careful attention

to designing an interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate, ensuring accessibility for

students and educators alike.

Ultimately, Project ERAS is a forward-thinking solution designed to revolutionize

the way academic research is managed.
