5. Course Description: TECHNICAL WRITING


Course Objectives: At the end of the semester the students should be able to:
1. Apply and adapt flexible writing process strategies to produce clear, high-quality deliverables in a multitude of technical writing genres.
2. Use professional technical writing convention of clean and clear design, style, and lay-out of written materials.
3. Gather and apply researched information that is appropriate to your field, as demonstrated by reading and analyzing documents, and citing sources correctly.
4. Write clearly, correctly, and concisely.
Course Requirements:
1. Attendance, active participation, and class presence in class activities are given.
2. Passing quizzes and periodic examinations.
3. Submission of assignments, activities, exercises, and projects.
4. Spend an adequate amount of time on the assigned work each week.
5. Compliance with other policies stated in the Student Handbook will also observe.
6. Actualize oneself as a unique person.
