Goldman Sachs, BLR/HYD, India

Dear Hiring Team,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the 2026 Summer Analyst Program in Investment Banking
at Goldman Sachs. Having recently completed my Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from
Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune, I’m eager to apply my academic foundation, project
experience, and global exposure in a challenging and high-impact environment like yours.

Through a financial analysis project for BMW, I worked on calculating the Net Present Value of a
potential investment using the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) methodology. I assessed key
financial metrics including beta, cost of equity, and cost of debt—developing a deeper understanding of
capital structuring and valuation strategies, which are essential to investment banking.

Additionally, my international exchange program in Germany allowed me to study subjects like Strategic
Innovation and Global Management under professors from across Europe. Collaborating with peers from
over a dozen countries sharpened my ability to think globally, communicate cross-culturally, and adapt to
dynamic teams—skills I believe are critical when working on complex, cross-border deals.

I’ve also had exposure to financial operations through my internship at IRCON International Ltd, where I
worked with SAP FICO modules and assisted with GST compliance. This hands-on experience enhanced
my attention to detail and understanding of financial systems.

What excites me about Goldman Sachs is its reputation for excellence in deal-making, client-centric
approach, and strong team culture. I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to work on live deals,
contribute to meaningful client solutions, and learn directly from experienced professionals during the
internship.

Thank you for considering my application. I would be thrilled to bring my curiosity, commitment, and
collaborative mindset to the Investment Banking team at Goldman Sachs and look forward to the
possibility of contributing to your work.

Sincerely,
