• Bachelor 3 years, Master’s 2 years

• Admission once a year (fall)

• Attending classes are not mandatory, but you must sit on exams.
• Grades are given out of 30.
• Five exams per year for each course

• You need to apply for CIMEA online and pay the fee

1. Excellence Scholarships
• These are merit-based scholarships.

• limited amounts (10 to 50 seats per university)

• 5000 to 12000 euro per year (plus tuition fee waive)


• Most of Italian universities offer such scholarships. See their websites.
• To compete for these scholarships, apply early!
• If get one, your visa chance is very good.

• you also don’t need bank statement.


2.Regional Scholarships
• need-based scholarship.

• Hundred Thousands of slots available

• Aproximately 7000 euro per


• Most of Italian universities offer such scholarships. See their websites.
• These scholarships are opens every year from July to September.
• Show financial documents

• No useful for visa stage


• You need a bank statement

When?
– From Nov to May or June
– Academic year 2025/26 (from Nov 2024 – June 2025)
– Earlier deadline for students outside of EU.
