Housetraining Research Paper
One thing every dog owner wants is that their dog never goes inside. So you have to house train
them. Housetraining is a lot like toilet training in kids, It takes time and A LOT of patience. First
step is to pick a potty place. Don t play or pet the dog in the potty place unless it goes to the
bathroom. After a while, the puppy s brain recognizes the potty place as a potty place. A puppy
younger than 12 weeks has little to no bladder control. When that puppy needs to go, it needs to go!
If a puppy is older than 12 weeks and it still has no bladder control take a urine sample to the vet,
because the puppy might have urinary tract infection. Consistency is the bedrock of creating any
habit, including housebreaking. Bells are amazing tools for housetraining. When the doghas to go, it
can ring a bell, saving time and an unwanted accident.
Tools and Gadgets can either be life saving, or life breaking if you don t use them correctly.
Clickers are a handy training tool. Pair this sharp click noise with a treat and the dog s brain will ...

One of the most important skills for preventing your dog s misbehavior is knowing how to
redirect them before they act. Redirection simply means taking their attention away from
whatever they re focused on and bringing it back to you. The idea of redirection is to provide a
stimulus that will distract your dog from whatever they ve fixated on, whether it s another dog, a
person, a squirrel, or a noise outside. In order for redirection to work on your dog, it has to get
your dog s attention, and the best way to do this is to associate it with a reward through positive
reinforcement. Once your dog is responding the right way to the sound whenever you make it, it s
time to start mixing it up by not always giving a reward other than verbal praise. Keep refining your
timing of the redirection and learn how your dog indicates when he s about to engage in unwanted
Analysis Of The Lost Generation
You are all a lost generation , said Gertrude Stein to Ernest Hemingway in a casual conversation in
Paris. The phrase then came to characterize an entire post war generation of the 1920 s which sets
the premise of Hemingway s iconic novel, The Sun Also Rises. After World War I, society quickly
began questioning their traditional ideas of justice, faith and morality. The men and women affected
by the aftermath of the war became physically, psychologically, and morally lost. This group of
people was known as the Lost Generation. Hemingway embodies the ideas and the characteristics of
the Lost Generation in his characters: Jake Barnes, Brett Ashley, Count Mippopolous, and Michael
Campbell. By focusing on the various aspects of their injuries... Show more content on

Furthermore, Hemingway reveals to the reader that Jake lost more from the war than just a sense
of purpose. Jake received an injury during the war that has rendered him impotent. As an Italian
colonel said to Jake, You...have given more than your life (Hemingway 34). We see during an
encounter with his lover Georgette, that he cannot have a complete relationship with a woman.
Jake says to her, Everybody s sick. I m sick, too (Hemingway 23). This is a reflection of the entire
Lost Generation because everyone that we have encountered in Paris is sick with something. This is
a symptom of the post war condition that the Lost Generation has. Jake accepts that he cannot truly
satisfy his true love, Brett Ashley, due to his injury and tries to find humor in it. He says to Brett
that what happened to him is supposed to be funny and that certain injuries or imperfections are a
subject of merriment while remaining quite serious for the person possessing them (Hemingway 35).
This results in the hopeless relationship that Brett and Jake can never fulfill which leads to a solution
that most of the Lost Generation found comfort in; alcohol. Jake found that drinking served as a
distraction to fill his time and realized the feeling of things coming that you could not prevent
happening were lost by indulging in alcohol and was happy (Hemingway 151). Brett Ashley is the
beautiful and vibrant French woman who often manipulates men with her sexuality. In front of
Ethnocentrism In The Military
When I see the word ethnocentrism before I knew what it actually meant. I always thought of it
as term used only with African Americans people but used in some sort of played down way not
to offend or be looked at as racist. There has been times when I hear someone say something about
an African American person hair and say things like That is ethnic hair to avoid saying it is nappy
or dreaded. I would just ignore it and think in my mindlike wow they are trying hard not seem racist.
It was for me going to the Army s Equal Opportunity Leaders Course was then I was finally educated
on terms such as discriminationand ethnocentrism. It showed me that I had to fix my way of
thinking even though I never looked at anyone s race as inferior but
Vietnamese Gang Trafficking And The United States
In early 1990, Vietnamese criminal groups have been operating internationally in their own right.
Vietnamese criminal group and entrepreneurs have become increasingly involved in heroin
trafficking, money laundering, counterfeit documentation, and extortion on an international scale.
Little is known about the international infrastructure of Vietnamese criminal organizations.
However, the main Vietnamese gangs operating in the United States, Canada, and Australia appear
to be the 5T and BTK, along with a number of less formally structured gangs. These gangs are noted
for their readiness to use violence and their mobility. They are mainly involved in murder, assaults,
extortion, armed robbery, drug trafficking, street crime, automobile theft, fraud, computer crime,
illegal gambling, prostitution, and home invasion robberies. With the opening up of Vietnam to trade
and contact with the West, it can be anticipated that there will be greater coordination in the future
between Vietnamese criminals overseas and counterparts in Vietnam and Southeast Asia generally.
This is likely to lead to greater Vietnamese criminal involvement in international drug trafficking,
illegal immigration, the international sex trade, the baby/child adoption industry and possibly,
trafficking in human organs and body parts.
In America there are many Asian gangs, but one particular Vietnamese gang had punctured the street
of New York. The Born To Kill (BTK) was found by a Vietnamese immigrant named
Disney Seventieth Anniversary Essay
It was Disney s Seventieth Anniversary on July 17 in Knox Pennsylvania and I decided to have a
few friends over to celebrate this occasion. When everyone arrived we sat down to enjoy a
spectacular meal made by some of my friends. When we sat down and were eating I told them that
I had a story to tell then. They all leaned in as I began to tell them my tragic but amazing story.
It all began on a warm summer day on July 17th in China. There was a large gathering in the fresh
waters of South China Sea. Flounder from The Little Mermaid, Mushu from Mulan, Dory from
Finding Nemo, and Olaf from Frozen were all swimming as fast as they could to get to Dory s
house for the gathering. As Flounder, Mushu, and Olaf swam into Dory s for their sixty second ...

They sat and talked for hours about all of their memories from Disney shows and about all the
things that were soon to come. Right before they were all getting ready to leave Dory
remembered the banner she had made for the party. She said, Wait, no, you can t leave. I have
one more thing to show you before you go. She swam as fast as she could back to her room and
grabbed the long, circle tube and swam back out. She told them to close their eyes and count to
three. They all did so and on three Dory yelled, Open! And Happy Anniversary! as she yelled that a
huge poster and confetti shot out of the tube. Everyone came together for a huge group
The Theory Of Social Responsibility
The pattern of social responsibility will be demonstrated in this paper by noting a couple inquiries
encompassing the thought and routine of social responsibility. The paper will start with
characterizing the idea of social responsibility and noting the accompanying inquiries: What does
Cohen feel is the social responsibility of a business to its workers, stakeholders, and society as a
whole? How does this perspective align with that of Drucker? How does Cohen s opinion compare
with that of Friedman? Which aligns best with the current business climate promoting a green
environment ? Why? Social Responsibility Druker inferred that each organization must accept full
responsibility regarding its effect on workers, the earth, clients, and whomever and whatever it
touches is social responsibility (Cohen, 2009 p. 31). Generally, social responsibility is a leadership
commitment to society and that organizational must act as needs be to accommodate the well being
and interest of the general public that it influences. Social responsibility can t be satisfied through
governments alone which is the place where hierarchical social responsibility becomes possibly the
most important factor. Moreover, there are numerous aspects in social responsibility, it simply
depends of which venue of social responsibility is followed up on to encourage financial assistance.
For instance, Cohen (2009) indicated a number of elusive contrasts by means of two distinctive rich
business visionaries
How Did The Europeans Contribute To The Spread Of Maritime...
When maritime expansion began, China participated not because they were interested in trading
rather they wanted to broaden their empire to show the rest of the world their power and
achievements. Trade did come into play when the Ming sought to expanding the empire, however it
was more about curiosity of the new lands. Chinadid set up trading with Western countries for a
short period of time before they realized that the West did not offer them as much as they had hoped
for. The Europeans still were interested in trading with China so they allowed one trading port only,
Macao. This did not last long as China began to think Europeans were a threat to their way of life
and decided to limit their interaction with them. Eventually the Dutch East India Company had
formed and showed favor in China by acknowledging the emperors superiority. Although China had
wanted to decrease their contact with Westerners, especially trading with them, Chinese scholars and
intellects took interest in the Jesuits and allowed them to enter their country on a limited basis.
Catholic missionaries joined the merchants from Spain and Portugal to China. The Dominicans and
Franciscans wanted to try to convert the lower class of China, the ... Show more content on

They first allowed trading to occur but then limited how much the Europeans could trade with them.
The most significant contact with Westerners was through the Jesuits. The Jesuits had a tremendous
effect on China in terms of bring with them the knowledge of new technology like clocks as well as
new advancements in science like astronomy. Although the Jesuits succeeded in converting some
Chinese scholars to Christianity, the emperor eventually put a halt to the conversion and banned
missionaries from entering China. This resulted in China s empire to become more isolated and even

Zoë Quinn s The Fine Young Capitalists
When you think of the average gamer who comes to mind? On television you probably see some
over weight and unemployed guy who is living in the basement of his parents house. The visual
discourse in this is that only males are gaming nerds and that there is no place in the field for
women. The group called The Fine Young Capitalists (TFYC) try to change that narrative with a
contest of their own allowing women to create their own ideas for games. Some disturbing
contradictions came out of their mission, and it was criticized by game developer Zoë Quinn.
TYFC is a radical feminist group founded by Matthew Rappard, the only named person involved.
According to author Dustin Kidd (2017), The group operates as an anonymous collective whose goal

Advocating for women s equality in gaming, she questioned the process of the women developers
basically working for free and giving up their ideas. Rappard said that his intentions were only to
help women, but only earning eight percent commission seems to be very little compared to what
they could make. There is also the problem that rest of the money could have went to men s
charities. She also claimed the group was transphobic (Kidd, 2017, p. 128). Trans people had to
declare themselves as female before March 11, 2014 to be eligible to participate. The reason was
so that men would not declare themselves as women just to gain access to a potential reward, but

Las Vegas was the driving force in the creation of Clark County, Nevada in 1909 and the city was
incorporated in 1911 as a part of the county.
The name Las Vegas was given to the area in 1829 by a Mexican scout named Raphael Rivera, a
member of the Antonio Armijo trading party that was traveling to Los Angeles, and stopped for
water there while heading north and west on the Old Spanish Trail from New Mexico. At that time,
several parts of the valley contained artesian wells surrounded by extensive green areas; Las Vegas
means the meadows in Spanish. The flows from the wells fed the Las Vegas Wash, which runs to the
Colorado River.

The robotic mission that I chose was Mariner 10. Mariner 10 was launched on November 3, 1973
intended as a flyby of planet Venus and Mercury. It passed by the Venus in February 1974 and used
the gravitational pull of Venus to reach Mercury. Mariner 10 was the first man made object to reach
Mercury on March 29th 1974. The technological advancements achieved during the Mercury
Mission accelerated the space technology. What was NASA s Mariner program? Besides sharing a
name with a great sports franchise, The mariner program comprised of 10 spacecrafts that launched
between 1962 and late 1973. Nasa s Jet propulsion laboratory designed and built 10 spacecraft
named Mariner to explore the inner planets: ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sensors on the spacecraft revealed that the planet s magnetic fied was a twentieth of the strength of
Earth s magnetic field. This meant that the solar winds affected Venus a lot more than the Earth,
since Earth s magnetic field shields the Earth. The visible pictures of Venus showed that there wasn
t much variation, verifying that the planet was coverd in a thick cloud layer. UV sensors showed
much swirls and other movements, leading to scientist thinking there was a very active atmosphere.
When the space craft arrived at Mercury on March 29, 1974 the spacecraft did three passes. Sensors
showed that Mercury was a bleak planet that looked like the moon. There were craters and bare
ground in the photos captured. On the surface there were scarps, which is a very step bank or slope,
which led to the scientist believing that the planet may have shrunk in the past. Scientist also
discovered that there was a small magnetic field about 1/60th the strength of Earth s. They assumed
that the magnetic field came from within the planet rather than being generated by the planet s
interaction with the solar wind. There also was a faint helium atmosphere around the planet. During
the flybys the new navigational technigques for mission planners was tested and used, this technique
would be used on future spacecraft. Unfortunately because of Mercury s small gravity, the gravity
assist only enabled the Mariner
