Dear Sir,

Sub: Legal Notice on behalf of our Client Mahesh Jayaramaiah

1. Under instructions from our client, MR MAHESH

Our client represents to us that our client Our client, Mr. Mahesh, recently built a new house in
Basaveshwarnagar. Excited to furnish his new home, Mr. Mahesh visited the Royal Oak store with the intention
of purchasing furniture to complete his living room. Impressed by the range of products available, Mr. Mahesh
to purchased three sofas from the store on 26 th may 2023, trusting in the reputation of Royal Oak for quality and
craftsmanship.
2. Shortly after the purchase, however, Mr. Mahesh discovered that the backrest inclination angle of all three
sofas was poorly designed, leading to severe neck and back pain. Concerned about the discomfort caused
by the sofas, Mr. Mahesh immediately brought the issue to the attention of the store executives at the
Peenya Outlet of Royal Oak. Our client Promptly reported this concern to the store executives, seeking a
resolution.
we hereby issue this legal notice to address a serious matter concerning the purchase of sofas from your Peenya
Outlet at Royal Oak hereinafter referred as first of you. Despite bringing the issue to the notice of store
executives within a couple of days of purchase and continuous follow-ups and tele conversations with your
cluster manager Mr. Ranganath, Sharath, and Ajeesh (Sales Executive), the problem remains unresolved.
3. our client represents to us that Despite assurances and promises made by your staff, including the
aforementioned individuals, no positive approach has been taken to rectify the issue. Our client has sent two
emails and remained in continuous contact with your store personnel at the Peenya Outlet, but to no avail. False
assurances have been provided, and the latest claim of an inspection by a quality person, as assured by your
side, did not take place.
4. Furthermore, our client represents to us that our client has been receiving calls and messages from Bajaj
Finance hereinafter referred as second party, her reminding them about pending EMI payments for the sofas.
This situation has caused immense distress and frustration. After 45 days of unsuccessful attempts to resolve the
matter, our client has no choice but to involve their lawyer and escalate the issue to the next level. Despite
several requests, your store personnel have not shared the contact details of higher-ups at Royal Oak, impeding
our client's ability to escalate the matter appropriately.
. In view of the foregoing, we hereby call upon you, the first party,
 Immediate resolution of the defective sofas by replacing them with sofas that meet the required quality
standards, ensuring they do not cause any health risks or discomfort to our client.
 Compensation for the physical pain, suffering, and inconvenience caused to our client due to the
defective sofas, including any medical expenses incurred as a result.
 Provision of the contact details of higher-ups within Royal Oak, including but not limited to the CEO
or any senior executive, to enable our client to escalate the issue appropriately.
. In view of the foregoing, we hereby call upon you, the second party
 Cease all communication regarding pending EMIs for the faulty purchase until the matter is
satisfactorily resolved.
 Refrain from taking any legal action against our client for non-payment of EMIs, as the issue is directly
linked to the defective product purchased from the First Party.
We expect both the First Party and the Second Party to take immediate action to address these demands within
15 days from the date of receipt of this notice. Failure to comply with these demands will leave our client with
no option but to pursue legal remedies available, including filing consumer complaints, seeking damages, and
highlighting the negligent practices of both the First Party and the Second Party in a court of law.

Please acknowledge receipt of this notice and provide a written response within10 days. Your Prompt attention
to this matter is expected.

This notice is issued without prejudice to our client's rights to initiate further legal proceedings to seek
appropriate redress as entitled under the law. The charges for this notice amount to Rs. 15,000/-, payable by
both the First Party and the Second Party jointly.,
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
