Session 1: Introductions & Workplace Communication


Goal: Practice professional self-introductions and small talk

• Activities:
• Elevator pitch practice
• Small talk at work (scenarios: meeting a client, networking events)
• Formal vs informal expressions

• Useful Phrases: “I’m responsible for…”, “Nice to meet you.”, “Let me


introduce myself…”

Session 2: Meetings – Leading and Participating


Goal: Improve fluency in meetings

• Activities:
• Role-play: Team meeting (agenda, suggestions, decisions)
• Practice interrupting politely, asking for clarification, summarizing
• Language Focus: “Shall we move on?”, “I’d like to add something”, “To
summarize…”
Session 3: Giving Presentations
Goal: Build confidence in presenting ideas

• Activities:
• Mini-presentations (1–2 mins): product, service, project
• Useful structures: signposting and transitions
• Peer feedback
• Phrases: “Let’s begin with…”, “As you can see on the slide…”, “In
conclusion…”

Session 4: Email and Phone Communication


Goal: Practice polite and effective professional communication

• Activities:
• Email correction activity (tone/formality)
• Phone call role-plays: leaving a message, making an appointment
• Phrases: “I’m writing to follow up…”, “Could you please…?”, “I’m afraid

Goal: Handle workplace conflicts and make deals

• Negotiation role-play: deadline, budget, contract

Session 6: Talking About Data and Trends


Goal: Describe charts, data, and trends fluently

• Activities:
• Describe simple graphs: sales, customer numbers, performance
• Practice comparatives, percentages, and trends
• Phrases: “The number increased slightly…”, “There was a sharp drop
in…”, “Compared to last year…”
Session 7: Job Interviews & Career Goals
Goal: Practice interview speaking and career development talk

• Activities:
• Interview simulation (Tell me about yourself,
strengths/weaknesses, why this job?)
• Career goals discussion (Where do you see yourself in 5 years?)
• Useful Phrases: “I’m eager to…”, “One of my strengths is…”, “I’m
currently working on improving…”

Session 8: Review & Real-Life Workplace Scenarios


Goal: Integrate and use all previous skills in real contexts

• Activities:
• Simulation stations: client call, internal meeting, reporting
progress
• Group feedback: What improved? What still needs work?
• Wrap-Up: Self-evaluation + teacher feedback

Note: There’s possibility in changing the topic due to objectives necessity, in


accordance of the student’s needs.
