Class Observation

Indicator 1. Apply knowledge of content within and across curriculum


teaching areas.
 Health was integrated during preliminary activities since we are normal
situation, we are observing health protocols.

Indicator 2. Display proficient use of Mother Tongue, Filipino, and


English to facilitate to teaching and learning.
 Teacher encourages all the learners to participate in class discussion
and tried to answer in Mother tongue to express their own opinion.
 The teacher uses mother tongue or tagalog to express their own
opinion so that they can easily understand the difficult words that they
encounter.
Indicator 3. Use effective verbal and non-verbal classroom
communication strategies to support learner understanding
participation, engagement and achievement.
 At the beginning of the lesson teacher wear smiled and motivated to
convey the learner that they are welcome in the class and promote
open communication to the learner.
 During the class discussion the teacher introduce a guessing game,
and different activities to encourage participation and engagement in
the whole duration of the lesson.
 The teacher used verbal strategies that include giving instructions and
non-verbal communication.
Indicator 4. Established safe and secure learning environments to
enhance learning through the consistent implementation of policies,
guide and procedures.
 During preparatory activities, classroom management was done.
 Rules and regulation on the classroom were presented to have a
conducive learning and productive lesson.
 Teacher reminded the learners about the COVID 19 Classroom
precautionary measures.
 During the group activity the teacher reminded again to work on the
safety precaution in doing group works.
Indicator 5. Maintain learning environments that promote fairness,
respect and care to encourage learning.
 In guessing game, the teacher encourages learners to participate and
call the learners who are frequently answering and participating in the
activity.
 Everyone in the class were given opportunity to participate in class
discussion.
Indicator 6. Maintain learning environment that nurture and inspire
learners to participate, cooperate and collaborate in continued
learning.
 The teacher encourage all the learners most especially the slow
learners to participate in the class discussion and tried to answer the
question to express their own opinion.
Indicator 7. Apply a range of successful strategies that maintain
learning environments that motivate learners to work productively
by assuming responsibility for their own learning.
 During their group activity, all learners were encouraging to actively
cooperate in their given task and encourage the reporter to report and
presenting their output on the group and believed that they can do it.
Indicator 8. Design, adapt and implement teaching strategies that
are responsible to learners with disabilities, giftedness and talents.
 Since there were no learners with disabilities, giftedness and talents in
the class the teacher prepared Teacher Reflection Form for Teacher III
for this indicator and opt to choose the TRF Prompt #1
Indicator 9. Adapt and use culturally appropriate teaching
strategies to address the needs of learners from indigenous
groups .
 Since there were no learners in the class that comes from indigenous
groups, the teacher prepared TRF or the Teacher Reflection Form for
teacher III for this indicator and opt to choose the TRF Prompt #1
