Recognition Day Ceremony Script

INTRODUCTION / TRANSITION
Rens: A heartfelt congratulations once again to our Kindergarten learners and
their proud parents. The Moving-Up Ceremony was truly heartwarming.
Chiska: Now, we continue with our celebration of excellence and achievements.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Recognition Day Ceremony of Salazar
Elementary School for School Year 2024–2025!
Rens: This day is dedicated to honoring the hard work, perseverance, and
triumphs of our dear learners from Grades 1 to 5 — those who have gone
above and beyond in both academics and extra-curricular activities.

PART I – DANCE PRESENTATION


Chiska: To open this part of the program with energy and grace, let’s witness
some spectacular dance presentations prepared by our talented students.
Rens: Let’s begin with the Grade V learners performing the folk dance “Polka sa
Nayon.”
[Dance presentation – Grade 5]
Chiska: What a lively and joyful performance to start our program! Great job,
Grade V!
Rens: Next, the Grade IV pupils will share with us the spirit of cooperation and
community through the folk dance “Tiklos.”
[Dance presentation – Grade 4]
Chiska: That was truly heartwarming and full of teamwork. Well done, Grade
IV!
Rens: And to complete our first set of performances, our Grade III students will
dance the ever-charming and graceful “Cariñosa.”
[Dance presentation – Grade 3]
Chiska: Such elegance and charm! A round of applause once again for our
Grade III performers.

PART II – AWARDING OF HONORS (Key Stage 1: Grades 1–3)


Chiska: We now proceed to the Awarding of Medals, Ribbons, and Certificates
to our young achievers from Key Stage 1 – Grades 1 to 3.
Rens: To call on the awardees, we invite the following class advisers:
- Grade 1 Class Adviser: Mrs. Alona P. Garcia
- Grade 2 Class Adviser: Ms. Joy C. Sicoy
- Grade 3 Class Adviser: Ms. Meciel C. Catindoy
Chiska: To present the awards, we are honored to welcome our School Head,
Mrs. Nelia N. Lagaday.
Rens: Assisting in the awarding are our school administrators and esteemed
guests.
[Awarding of honors – Grades 1–3]

PART III – DANCE PRESENTATION


Chiska: Congratulations to our Key Stage 1 awardees! Let us now take a short
intermission with more cultural and creative performances.
Rens: Starting with the Grade 1 learners, here is a lively performance of the
folk dance “Gaway-gaway.”
[Dance – Grade 1]
Chiska: That was such a vibrant and delightful number! Great job, Grade 1!
Rens: Next, our Grade 2 students will showcase a tribal dance entitled “Una
una kaya kaya.”
[Dance – Grade 2]
Chiska: What an expressive and powerful performance. Well done, Grade 2!
Rens: And to complete this segment, the Grade 3 pupils will share a creative
Jazz Chant titled “I Have Never Been.”
[Performance – Grade 3]
Chiska: So creative and full of energy! Congratulations, Grade 3 — that was
amazing!

PART IV – AWARDING OF HONORS (Key Stage 2: Grades 4–5)


Chiska: We now proceed to the recognition of our Key Stage 2 achievers —
Grades 4 and 5.
Rens: To present the awardees, we invite the class advisers:
- Grade 4 Class Adviser: Ms. Marivic G. Blones
- Grade 5 Class Adviser: Ms. Leah Clauden Pore
Chiska: Once again, the awards will be given by our school head, Mrs. Nelia N.
Lagaday, with the assistance of the school administrators and honored guests.
[Awarding of honors – Grades 4–5]

PART V – INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGES


Rens: To inspire our learners further, we are honored to hear a message from a
dedicated leader in our community. Please welcome Hon. Myrna D. Salazar,
Barangay Chairperson of Brgy. Cabadsan.
[Message – Hon. Salazar]
Chiska: Thank you, Hon. Salazar. We now invite another esteemed guest who
serves as a strong advocate for education in our barangay. Let us welcome
Hon. Rammon B. Bulante, Chairperson of the Committee on Education.
[Message – Hon. Bulante]
PART VI – CLOSING REMARKS & PHOTO SESSION
Rens: To formally close this day of celebration, we call on our beloved school
head, Mrs. Nelia N. Lagaday, for her closing remarks.
[Closing Remarks – Mrs. Lagaday]
Chiska: And now, before we all head home, we invite all awardees, teachers,
and special guests to proceed to the stage for our group photo session.
Rens: Parents and guardians, you may also take photos from the designated
area. Let us capture and celebrate this special milestone together.
Chiska: Thank you to everyone who joined us today. Your presence made this
event truly meaningful.
Rens: On behalf of Salazar Elementary School, we wish you all a safe and restful
break. Until next school year — congratulations and mabuhay!
