آهأعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Alhamdulilahi Rabil’Alameen
Bismillahi wasalatu wassalamu ala sayeedeena
Muhammad wa ala ali hi wasahbi ajmaeen,
thuma amma ba’d
واحلل عقدة تمل, ويسر لي أمري,ربي اشرح لي صدري
يفقهوا قولي,لساني
We begin by Praising Allah (SWT) and
bearing witness that none has the right to
be worshipped or unconditionally obeyed
except for Him
And we bear witness that Muhammad
(SAW) is his final messenger
We ask Allah to send his peace and
blessings upon him, the prophets and
messengers that came before him
His family and companions that served
alongside him and those that follow in his
blessed path until the day of judgment
And we ask Allah to make us amongst
them Allahuma Ameen

🌱 INTRO: The Way You Were Formed — “Ansha’a” and the Miracle of
Growth
"He is the One who raised you ( )أنشأكمand gave you hearing, sight,
and hearts."
(Surah al-Mulk 67:23)
Allah didn’t just create you. The Qur’an uses “Ansha’a” — a word of
growth, development, deliberate nurturing.
In cell biology, A single fertilized cell turns into neurons, heart cells,
muscle, emotion — no surgeon, no professor, no doctor can
replicate that.
You are not an accident.
You are a carefully constructed soul with a built-in system for
discovering Allah:
🎧 Hearing ( – )َس ْم عThe message is the same for all.
The Qur’an is one — but people respond differently.
Samaʿ is singular in Arabic: same revelation to everyone.
👀 Seeing ( – )أبصارBut how you see it differs.
Absar is plural: each person interprets what they see differently.
One person sees guidance, another sees restriction.
One person is crying in prayer, other is scratching his beard doesn’t
have a clue what is being said
❤️Hearts ( – )أفئدةFrom “fu’ād” — hearts on fire
“Fu’ād” means intense emotions — more intense than “qalb” which is
just normal emotion
A heart that has felt truth, processed it, and now lives by it
passionately
⚠️PROBLEM: The Disconnect Between Belief and Conviction
What is the deeper wisdom to this ayah
Many muslims today say: “I’m Muslim because my parents are.”
o That’s an emotional connection, not an intellectual
conviction.
Emotion is important, but alone it doesn’t last:
o One emotional khutbah and you start praying.
o Two weeks later, the fire’s gone — because the intellect
wasn’t engaged.
What happens when:
o A college professor questions religion?
o A podcast critiques Islam?
o A debate shakes your assumptions?
If your Islam isn’t rooted in reflection, it can be easily taken away by
manipulative speech that may cause doubts
“Do they not reflect on the Qur’an, or are there locks upon their
hearts?” (47:24)
“Had it been from other than Allah, they would have found in it
much contradiction.” (4:82)
Nobody can replicate the Quran
📘 Practical Tip: Add Tadabbur to Your Busy Life
You're in school, rotations, residency, work — life is packed.
But tadabbur is not long tafsir sessions.
💡 Here’s how to start:
o Pick one ayah a day.
o Ask yourself: "What does Allah want me to feel or do here?"
o Use Qur’an apps with commentary (Quran.com, Bayyinah app).
o Reflect during commutes, between patients, or before bed.
One thoughtful ayah can hit you harder than 20 pages without focus.
🧾 Final Reflection: Real Gratitude Is Action
“Little are you grateful.”
o Gratitude = using the gift as the Giver intended.
o Don’t just say “Alhamdulillah” — hear the truth, see the
signs, and your heart will be passionately driven by the
truth
You wouldn’t gift someone a car and watch them crash it.
Allah gave you hearing, sight, and a heart — use them for Him.
Conclusion:
- You were created with purpose — Allah nurtured you and gave you
hearing, sight, and a passionate heart to recognize the truth.
- Inherited faith isn’t enough — Real conviction comes from
reflection, not just emotion or tradition.
- Reflect on the Qur’an/Signs of Allah (SWT) daily — Even one
ayah, patient exposure, experience, looking at the sky a day can
strengthen your connection to Allah (SWT) and turn gratitude into
action.
