XPT System Configuration App works for the following:

What does the XPT Configuration App do?
The app is used to configure the following:
• XPT sites
• Freq Range
• Site name
• Site ID
• Telephone interconnect settings
• Beacon interval
• XPT channels
• Repeater type (Master or Slave)
• Channel Alias
• Frequency and Color code
• Type of service – Voice or Data
• Home Group
• System Level
• Adjacent Site Info Edit
• Home Group List View
• Import and Export of your XPT System Configuration using *.xml file
• Import to your CPS for programming radios and repeaters

• XPT System Design

• The XPT Configuration App does not plan your XPT system for you, it helps you
generate the correct system file to be used for your terminals and repeaters

Configuring the XPT Repeater
• Step 1: Read the repeater configuration using the CPS.

Configuring the XPT Repeater
• Step 2: Set the “Repeater Index” and “Site ID”
– CPS path: XPT Trunking - XPT Service – Setting - Site Setting - Repeater Index/Site ID
– The CPS will import the repeater configuration by the index. The default index is 1.
• Step 3: Import XPT setting file
– CPS path: Tools - Import XPT setting –

Tips, Tricks, Caveats
• Always remember to set the Repeater Index and Site ID before importing the
config
• All imported settings will be highlighted in blue text in the CPS
• You have to configure LAN network settings manually for the repeaters
• Emergency calling, XPT personalities, contacts, zones, need manual
configuration
