Assignment On Inclusive Learning And Teaching
Assignment: Analyse inclusive learning approaches to learning and teaching. Inclusive learning is
about making sure that every learner in the classroom has their needs identified and met. It is
about realising that every learner will have specific individual needs and it is the job of the
teacher to accommodate the needs of all of their learners. Booth et al. (2000) state Inclusion is seen
to involve the identification and minimising of barriers to learning and participation (Booth et al.,
2000: 13). One approach to inclusive learning is having additional support for the learners with
additional educational needs (AEN). This can be in the form of a teaching assistant or in some more
severe cases a carer. Additional support can... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although this is primarily for younger children this idea can be used straight through life long
learning. Assessment enables the teacher to see what objectives have been met and what still
needs to be addressed. This is often called formative assessment or assessment for learning.
Assessment for Learning is the process of seeking and interpreting evidence for use by learners ad
their teachers to decide where the learners are in their learning, where they need to go and how
best to go there (Assessment Reform Group, 2002). Within the classroom their needs to be a variety
of assessment strategies as not all learners will be able to express their knowledge to the best of
their ability in some forms of assessment. Assessment opportunities should be created during each
lesson in an informal way. This can be through having a conversation with a learner about what has
happened during the lesson and asking some key questions to see if they are able to show that they
have understood and therefore, the objectives have been met. From the research they conducted, the
Assessment Reform Group (2002) has identified ten key principles in relation to assessment for
learning. The two that stood out when looking at assessment to meet the learners needs are: 1.
Assessment for Learning focuses on how students learn. This suggests that assessment

However, as some of the concepts in social psychology state, the seemingly unatural behaviours of
the cult members are inevitable under the influence of various factors.

Firstly, status of group members share a similarity towards each other which people with low
esteem are extremely likely to be found among the cult members. A great number of Jones followers
were drug addicted, homeless or having terrible relationship with their family. While they were
abandoned, ignored or even hated by the society and their loved ones, Jones gave every member
unconditional love and protection.

Therefore, when people with low esteem and lack of social identity finally found the place they d
been searching for which was a group they were welcomed to, they would appreciate the warm
welcome of the group and would do anything to stay in it, feeling the sense of belonging and
connection. Jones used the dependency and loyalty the temple s members to increase the obedience

Points are used by the DMV to evaluate driving records. Everyone starts off with a clean driving
record; if you get a traffic ticket you points can go up. Tickets for speeding, parking tickets, not
using turn signals, parking in handicapped spots, reckless driving, DUI, DWI, driving on a
suspended license, driving without a license or drag racing can all make your points go up. You
can receive one point for less severe traffic violations including speeding, running a red light, not
using turn signals or getting into an accident that was your fault. You can receive two points for
reckless driving, causing injury due to reckless driving, DUI, hit and run, driving in the wrong
direction, driving with a suspended or revoked license or... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Upon completion of traffic school your points will be dismissed and your ticket is considered
resolved. Often times traffic school can even be done online. There is a fee for the driving school
and it is typically the same amount as the fine. Unfortunately you cannot be considered for traffic
school if your violation is a misdemeanor, if it is because of traffic tickets, if it involved any
alcohol or drugs, if you must appear in court, if you were driving a commercial vehicle, and if you
have a commercial driver s license. Types of infractions include parking where you aren t
supposed including red zones and handicapped space, running a red light, turning illegally, not
stopping at a stop sign, changing lanes with no signal, using the carpool lane with no passengers,
no headlights when driving at night, and hitting another vehicle. You can attend traffic school if
you hold a valid driver s license and if you are eligible by the courts to attend driving school you
will receive a notice in the mail with the details. If you ve been have a traffic ticket that is causing
your points to go up, causing your insurance company to potentially drop you or causing your
license to go suspended you should hire a traffic ticket attorney as soon as possible. As an
experienced and knowledgeable traffic ticket attorney, we will help you understand your potential
penalties including fines, license suspension, increase in insurance
Comparison Between Norman Maclean s Young Men And Fire
We all live and we all die. Most of us hope to live and leave a legacy, something to be remembered
by. It is inevitable that we will die, but dying young is a tale that Norman Maclean serves us in
Young Men and Fire. Maclean devours the anguish of dying young to the passion of the Christ.
Maclean s background allows him to tell this tale with a divine humility, enabling him to seize this
matter with solemnity and respect. While a Christians honor Christ s sacrifice for us, Normal
Maclean shines respect and honor on the tragic deathof the brave men who lost their lives in the
raging mountain wildfire. Normal Maclean searches for the truth when thirteen smokejumpers lost
their lives in the Mann Gulch fire in 1949, giving the reader some hope that God had a plan for
their journey. It was in the year 1949 on August 10 when Norman Maclean observed the Mann
Gulch fire and became attached to it. It was a tragedy that took the lives of 13 U.S. Forest Service s
Smokejumpers, consuming the author s attention until he was too ill to write any longer.... Show

This scene depicts the landscape laden with crosses. It gives the reader a real sense of what was
seen that day; a very tragic, surreal, unimaginably painful tragedy. Using religion again, the reader
gathers the allusion of Dante s Inferno writing, Since the Inferno is also a pit, I have had to learn
how to die in the Inferno always falling down (p205). The smokejumpers died, falling, which strips
the reader of confidence and hope that they had a chance to fight. By falling, they had nothing to
save them but a flight, a flight that had already left. There is no explaining why only three of
sixteen smokejumpers survived but religion can be suggested. Was it God? Why were they saved?

Essay on Statement of Philosophy and Educational Goals
Statement of Philosophy and Educational Goals

In the following report, I will be discussing my personal philosophy on education and my

educational goals. My philosophy will include some of my personal opinions on the nature of
students, the nature of knowledge, the purpose of public education, teaching methods and the
importance of curriculum. My educational goals will focus on my development plans and future
education.

I feel that it is natural for students, or for that matter anyone, to want to learn. In my own experience,
the pursuit of learning requires a high interest level in the subject matter being taught. You may have
the most exciting subject on earth. However, if it is presented in an ineffective ... Show more content

I think when social studies are presented in a manner that gives facts, and then allows for
interpretation it is most interesting. That leads me to my beliefs on what the purpose of public
education is.

I feel that the overall purpose of public education is to help students become well rounded,
knowledgeable citizens. I also feel that public education should also be used to encourage students to
pursue higher education. As a teacher, I hope to excite children to learn about social studies.
Through my classroom, I would feel accomplished if students learned, retained, formed opinions, and
sought further knowledge on the subject matter that I taught.

In my method of teaching I would tend to be somewhat of an existentialist. I would tend to focus

on how students learn. Since history is a large category of social studies, I would want students to
learn many things other than simply facts and dates. I would hope to show students that history is
made up of real people . I would want to show the culture in which people lived, and relate aspects of
that culture to modern day life. When presented in that manner, I think dates and facts of history
become much more important. Through such an analysis, I think a student will personally grow and
look at history in an entirely new manner.

In disciplining my classroom, I would be fair but strict. In my experience, the classrooms that I have
in have had discipline problems
