*Du’aa for the Day of Arafah*
_Short enough to remember, deep enough to transform._
On this day, your du‘aa are heard like never before.
The Day of Arafah is the heart of Dhul Hijjah, a day when sins are forgiven, hearts are
renewed and prayers are accepted.
Whether you are standing on the plains of Arafah or raising your hands quietly at home, let
your du'aa be *wide, hopeful* and *unfiltered.*
Here are 10 powerful du’aa from the Prophet ﷺand the Quran to carry with you. Each one
is a doorway to closeness with your Lord.
*1. For Forgiveness:*
ُ َو َعاَل ِن َي َت ُه َوسِ رَّ ه،ُ َوَأوَّ َل ُه َوآخ َِره،ُ ِد َّق ُه َو ِجلَّه،ُاغفِرْ لِي َذ ْن ِبي ُكلَّه
ْ اللَّ ُه َّم
Ya Allah, forgive all my sins, the small and the great, the first and the last, the public and the
private.
Allāhumma ighfir lī dhanbī kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa ākhirahu, wa
‘alāniyatahu wa sirrahu.
*2. For Provision and Trust:*
َ َربِّ ِإ ِّني لِ َما َأ ْن َز ْل
ت ِإ َليَّ مِنْ َخي ٍْر َفقِي ٌر
My Lord, indeed I am in desperate need of whatever good You send down to me. [28:24]
Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.
*3. For Jannah al-Firdaws:*
َ س اَألعْ َلى م َِن
ٍ الج َّن ِة ِب َغي ِْر ح َِسا
ب َ اللَّ ُه َّم ارْ ُز ْق َنا الفِرْ دَ ْو
Ya Allah, grant us al-Firdaws al-A‘la (the highest level of Jannah) without reckoning.
Allāhumma urzuqnā al-Firdaws al-A‘lā mina al-jannati bighayri ḥisāb.
*4. For Halal Provision:*
َ َوَأ ْغ ِننِي ِب َفضْ ل َِك َعمَّنْ سِ َو،ِك
اك ْ اللَّ ُه َّم
َ اك ِفنِي ِب َحاَل ل َِك َعنْ َح َرام
Ya Allah, suffice me with what is halal so I stay away from haram and enrich me by Your
bounty, not needing anyone else.
Allāhumma ikfinī bi-ḥalālika ‘an ḥarāmik, wa aghninī bifaḍlika ‘amman siwāk.
*5. For Sincerity in Worship:*
َ ش ْك ِر
َ َوحُسْ ِن عِ َبادَ ت،ك
ِك َ اللَّ ُه َّم َأعِ ِّني َع َلى ذ ِْك ِر
ُ َو،ك
Ya Allah, help me remember You, thank You and worship You beautifully.
Allāhumma a‘innī ‘alā dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa ḥusni ‘ibādatik.
*6. For Hajj Next Year:*
الع ِام ال َقاد ِِم ْ َّ
َ ِيق فِي
ِ العت
َ ِك ِ َّالل ُه َّم اجْ َعل َنا مِنْ حُج
َ اج َب ْيت
Ya Allah, make us among those who perform Hajj to Your sacred House next year.
Allāhumma aj‘alnā min ḥujjāji baytika al-‘atīq fī al-‘ām al-qādim.
*7. For Protection from Trials:*
َما َظ َه َر ِم ْن َها َو َما َب َط َن،ك م َِن ْال ِف َت ِن ُ اللَّ ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأع
َ ُوذ ِب
Ya Allah, I seek Your protection from trials, both apparent and hidden.
Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika mina al-fitan, mā ẓahara minhā wa mā baṭan.
*8. For the Ummah:*
ضا ُه ْم َوارْ َح ْم َ ْاللَّ ُه َّم َأصْ لِحْ َأحْ َوا َل ُأ َّم ِة اِإلسْ اَل ِم َواجْ َمعْ َكلِ َم َت ُه ْم َع َلى ْال َح ِّق َوارْ ُز ْق ُه ُم ال َّنصْ َر َو ْالع َِّز َة َوارْ َفعْ َع ْن ُه ُم ْال َباَل َء َوالضُّرَّ َوا ْشفِ َمر
آنِ َْم ْو َتا ُه ْم َو َنوِّ رْ قُلُو َب ُه ْم ِب ْالقُر
Ya Allah, rectify the condition of the Ummah of Islam, unite their hearts upon truth, grant
them victory and honor, lift from them hardship and harm, heal their sick, have mercy on
their deceased and illuminate their hearts with the Quran.
Allāhumma aṣliḥ aḥwāla ummati al-islām, wajma‘ kalimatahum ‘ala al-ḥaqq, warzuq'hum
an-naṣr wa al-‘izzah, warfa‘ ‘anhumul-balā’ wa aḍ-ḍurr, washfi marḍāhum, warḥam
mawtāhum, wanawwir qulūbahum bil-Qurān.
*9. For a Good Ending:*
َ َو َخي َْر َأيَّا ِم َنا َي ْو َم َن ْل َق،اللَّ ُه َّم اجْ َع ْل َخي َْر َأعْ َمالِ َنا َخ َوا ِت َم َها
اك
Ya Allah, make the best of our deeds the last ones and the best of our days the day we meet
You.
Allāhumma aj‘al khayra a‘mālinā khawātimaha, wa khayra ayyāminā yawma nalqāk.
*10. The Best Du‘aa of Arafah:*
َ اَل ِإ ٰل َه ِإاَّل هَّللا ُ َوحْ دَ هُ اَل َش ِر
ُ َل ُه ْالم ُْل،ُيك َله
َوه َُو َع َلى ُك ِّل َشيْ ٍء َقدِي ٌر،ك َو َل ُه ْال َحمْ ُد
There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs all dominion and all praise
and He is over all things capable.
Lā ilāha illa Allāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‘alā kulli
shay’in qadīr.
