SDC SLAM POETRY AND SPEECH SPARK 2020: A REPORT

A Slam poetry and speech spark was organized by BBM faculty of Shanker Dev
Campus on 24th Magh to provide a stage to the students on developing their
confidence in public speaking and establish a collaboration in between students
of different faculties to come forward and show their talents. Many selected
students from all of the faculties participated in this promising event.
The main reason behind organizing this competitions is to nurture the intrinsic
qualities of students and remove the fear of stage among students, which helps in
personality development too.
Students exhibited their talent in various activities. They recited their poetry and
graced the stage with very compelling speeches. Dance and Music was also a part
of the event where the students put on very interesting performances.
At the end of the program, the winners were awarded with medals and cash
prize.
