ABOUT US
Nurturing the Boy Child Academy is an Institution that
is aimed at restoring the eminence of the male child so
he can be the leader he has been destined to be. With
toxic masculinity on the rise, we are insistent on
preserving the place of the male child in our society by
instilling in the hearts of his care takers the need to learn
how the boy child thinks, his challenges, strengths and
what we can do to raise him into an empathetic,
responsible and wholesome young man.
We do this through our carefully thought out training
workshops and coaching programs where we equip
parents and parenting partners with skills, tools and
strategies that will help them raise a well-rounded man;
one that will not only survive and thrive but will flourish
as he makes an impact in his corner of the world.

OUR BACKGROUND
Our aim as an academy is to enhance the skill of care givers,
with emphasis on educators. In an era of rapid educational
evolution, we appreciate how crucial the teachers’ role is in
shaping the future of tomorrows leaders.
We are also aware of the burden educators carry. Being the ones
who are in close proximity with these children, they are more
aware of the challenges faced by these children who are
struggling to be seen and heard and are begging for their
emotional tanks to be filled leaving them prone to developing
undesirable behaviours.
It is therefore imperative that we invest in self-development
trainings for educators and parents so we can start to address
these problems that are very well attacking families. Aligned
with our commitment to raising 21st century impact makers, we
are eager to embark on this transformative journey of growth
and learning with you.

OUR PROGRAMS
1 VISION BOARD WORKSHOP FOR PRE TEENS AND TEENAGERS
DATE: 1st February, 2025
TARGET AUDIENCE: Preteens and Teenagers
SCOPE OF TRAINING: A vision board or dream board is collection of images, words and
symbols. It is a representation of one’s dreams and aspirations. This workshop is about
allowing children to dream and be kids in a candy store, searching for their deepest desires
and making huge requests from their Lord. Then we go a step further to teach them who
they need to become and the work they have to do in order to achieve these dreams.
MODE OF TRAINING: PHYSICAL
DURATION: 5 hours
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Participants will learn about his identity, values and strengths.
Your child will gain a deep understanding of what they truly want in life.
He/She will become more independent as they are intrinsically motivated to achieve
their goals

2 SELF ACTUALIZATION TRAINING: HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR
CHILDS’ DREAMS AND GOALS

SCOPE OF TRAINING: This workshop is about helping care givers create a healthy relationship
with children, one that’s based on trust and respect so they can successfully influence the child
and support them in achieving their goals.

3 30 DAY RAMADAN CHARACTER BUILDING PROGRAM FOR MUSLIM
BOYS
DATE: 1st February, 2025
TARGET AUDIENCE: Preteens and Teenagers
SCOPE OF TRAINING: This program aims to instill positive values and morals in young
boys, promoting their personal and social development. We will employ the use of a
rich and interactive journal that will help to build strength of character in them and get
them to learn life lessons from the sayings and actions of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
MODE OF TRAINING: VIRTUAL
DURATION: 30 DAYS

Participants will understand core ethical principles from the life of the Prophet
Muhammad (S.A.W).
They will develop practical strategies for implementing these teachings in their
daily lives.

Islamic values.

5 2-DAY EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS AND
EDUCATORS
DATE: 27th and 28th June, 2025
TARGET AUDIENCE: PARENTS AND TEACHERS
SCOPE OF TRAINING: This course is aimed at equipping parents and teachers to
cultivate self awareness in order to identify negative patterns in their upbringing and
understand and manage their emotions.
MODE OF TRAINING: PHYSICAL
DURATION: 2 DAYS - 6 hours on each day
LEARNING OUTCOMES
·Participants will develop a deep understanding of their emotional patterns and
triggers rooted in their upbringing, enabling them to break negative cycles in their
caregiving approach.
·They will master practical techniques for emotional self-regulation and mindful
responses to challenging situations with children.
·Parents and teachers will learn to model emotional intelligence and create safe
spaces for children's emotional expression, while building stronger, more authentic
connections through enhanced self-awareness.

6 HOW TO HAVE HEALTHY SEXUAL INTEGRITY CONVERSATIONS
WITH BOYS: An age by age guide.
DATE: 26th July, 2025
SCOPE OF TRAINING
This course is an introduction to a long term project of gaining the right information,
forming attitudes, beliefs and values. It encompasses sexual development, sexual
and reproductive health, Interpersonal relationships, intimacy, body image,
affection and gender roles. All these will be done in an environment that’s safe for
the child.
MODE OF TRAINING: PHYSICAL
DURATION: 1 DAY - 6 hours
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Caregivers will be equipped with age-appropriate language and evidence-based
strategies to confidently initiate and maintain open dialogues with boys about
sexual development, relationships, and personal boundaries.
Participants will develop practical skills to create safe, judgment-free spaces that
encourage boys to ask questions, express concerns, and develop healthy
attitudes towards their bodies, gender identity, and interpersonal relationships.
Caregivers will be empowered to foster sexual integrity in boys by modeling
respect and emotional intelligence while addressing crucial topics like
reproductive health, body image, and gender roles in ways that promote long-
term psychological and social well-being.
