infrastructure and IAM policies needed to complete this workshop.
The AWS account is only available for the duration of this workshop.
You will lose access to the account once the workshop is complete.
Any optional pre-provisioned infrastructure is deployed to a specific AWS Region.
Make sure that you are working in this Region; other Regions are blocked.
Review the terms and conditions of the event. Do not upload any
personal or confidential information to the account.

Some reminders
• Create resources in us-west-2 (Oregon) region
• Name resources as instructed in the workshop
• Allow clipboard permissions in web browser

Copy/paste from local to application session
1. Copy text from your local computer
2. In web browser client, choose clipboard
3. Paste text into “Copy and paste” popup and click done
4. Right click and paste in RStudio

Additional steps (optional)
• Create a snapshot of the virtual computer and create a new virtual
computer from snapshot
1. Virtual computers > [computer] > Snapshots tab > Create snapshot
2. Snapshots > [snapshot] > Actions > Create virtual computer
• Delete the virtual computer, but not the additional disk attached.
Create a new virtual computer, and attach the existing additional
disk to the new virtual computer
1. Virtual computers > [new computer] > Storage > Disks > [select disk] >
Attach disk
