As a dedicated member who's been deeply involved in QSA since day one, I've seen the
incredible potential we hold to create positive change on our campus and beyond. In my
role as Coordinator, I've strived to create a space where everyone feels valued and
included. Whether it's through organizing events like IRIS,Palentine or simply lending a
listening ear to my team members, I've always believed in the power of connection and
understanding.,. It's with immense pride and excitement that I announce my candidacy
for the positions of President and Vice President aiming to lead QSA to even greater
heights of impact and advocacy
● President:-In the role of President, I envision a QSA that is not just a safe space,
but a vibrant hub of empowerment and inclusivity. I am dedicated to fostering a
culture of acceptance where every member feels not only welcomed but
celebrated. Through collaborative initiatives and a steadfast commitment to
advocacy,.I promise to bring that same creativity and energy to the table.
Whether it's through organizing events by making all the team members work
together, I've seen firsthand the impact we can make when we come togetherMy
goal is to spread awareness and spark conversations that matter. Together, we
can make sure that QSA's message reaches every corner of our campus and
beyond. I'm committed to working tirelessly to make that vision a reality
● Vice President:-. I will mentor and support emerging leaders, empowering them
to take on roles of responsibility and advocacy within QSA and beyond. Together,
let us continue to build a future that is rooted in compassion, equity, and justice
for all.If entrusted with the role of Vice President, my focus will be on fostering
connections and amplifying voices within our community. I believe in the
importance of creating spaces where every member feels valued and heard
Together, I will continue to build upon the strong foundation laid by those who came
before us.I will be the leader who listen every individual and take decision according to
all the voices heard and which suits the best.It is my priority to cultivate an environment
where every individual feels safe, respected, and welcomed, regardless of their
background or identity. I will make sure that there will be no discrimination in the college
for LGBTQIA+ is not a different community but we all are same. Everyone understands
what is LGBTQIA+ terminology is.
FUTURE PLANS
1. Allyship Workshops: Organize workshops and training sessions to educate
members of the college community about how to be effective allies to LGBTQIA+
individuals. Topics could include pronoun usage, active listening, and responding
to discrimination.
2. Monthly Knowledge sharing session for all the team members so that there will
be bonding between us and they get educated as well.
3. Forge partnerships with local LGBTQIA+ organizations and community groups to
collaborate on events, resources, and advocacy efforts, leveraging their expertise
and support.
4. Facilitate peer support groups for LGBTQIA+ students, providing a confidential
space to share experiences, seek advice, and offer mutual support in navigating
challenges and celebrating victories.
5. Host a queer film festival showcasing LGBTQIA+ films, documentaries, and
shorts
6. Organize a cultural exchange program with other collegiate societies(LGBTQIA+
members) student groups from other colleges or universities, fostering
cross-cultural understanding and solidarity through shared experiences and
dialogue.
7. Guide team members for all the above mentioned activities so that it can be done
easily.
8. Collaborate with various societies for full fledge event in the college
Personal goals
● Aim to expand your network of LGBTQIA+ peers, mentors, and allies both on and
off campus, attending conferences, networking events, and community
gatherings to build meaningful connections and support systems.
● Expand social media handles
● Will work for more live projects started by member of LGBTQIA+ community
At the end i just wanted that we as a QSA grow together and work together in a safe
space regardless of any politics.
