ASSEMBLY
Sew the nose into place on the body of your Gonk (you can use a
chunky darning needle to pin the nose in place).

Then you want to place the hat on the top of the body, pulling it
down a little so that the nose pushes the lip of the hat up slightly
(you can use pins or darning needles to hold the hat in place)

Sew the hat into place. You can sew the hat around the edge or
through the front loop of row 13 which you can see about 5mm up
from the edge on the inside of the hat, as seen in photo below

BEARD
For the beard you want to cut roughly 50 pieces of cotton yarn at about 11cm of length.
Pull the strands of yarn through the sections of the body and tie as seen in photos below.

Do this all around the gonks beard and under the lip of the hat by the nose, until you feel
happy with the thickness of the beard. Bear in mind that the next step will make the
Gonks beard bushier.

Finaly you want to take your darning needle, or something with a tip but not too
sharp, and split the strands of the cotton yarn so they are completely separated. The
trim up the beard if you want to tidy it up a little and then you’re done!
