INCIDENTS & VIOLATION CAPABILITY

1. 4D Radar based Speed detection & Vehicle Marking


4D radar is used for spot speed detection with high accuracy. Also the system has the
capability to mark the violating vehicle precisely so that it is correctly identified among
other vehicles. Data provided by the Radar is be used to mark the vehicle. Also,
minimum two the wide-angle images should be captured by the system with violation
vehicle, for court room evidence requirement.

 Video based system speed accuracy drops considerably at night
 Also day time it can’t achieve 98% accuracy @ 180 KMPH speed
 No metrological lab calibration certificate

2. License Plate Recognition & Vehicle Classification – Day &


Night

Proposed system uses global shutter camera with pulsed dual power IR flash to get
excellent video quality at night.
Dual power capture capability at night – hence high-quality vehicle image, seatbelt
capture possible at night & at same time reflective plates are captured without any
over exposure. Also head light has no effect on image quality as illustrated in coming
pages
System can achieve typically 95% ANPR accuracy & vehicle detection along with
vehicle classification, for standard & near standard plates, both for retro reflective &
non retro reflective plates, day & night conditions.

Also low power white light will be used to capture reflective colour text from number
plates.
