Ancient Indian History (Prehistoric - 700 CE)

Prehistoric Period:
- Paleolithic Age (2 million - 10,000 BCE): Stone tools, hunter-gatherers.
- Mesolithic Age (10,000 - 8,000 BCE): Microliths, domestication of animals.
- Neolithic Age (8000 - 2000 BCE): Agriculture, pottery, permanent settlements.
Indus Valley Civilization (2500 - 1750 BCE): Urban planning, Great Bath, undeciphered script.
Vedic Period (1500 - 600 BCE): Early and Later Vedic periods, Rigveda, Mahajanapadas.
Maurya Empire (322 - 185 BCE): Chandragupta, Ashoka and Kalinga War.
Post-Maurya (185 BCE - 300 CE): Shungas, Kushans, Satavahanas.
Gupta Empire (320 - 550 CE): Golden Age, Aryabhata, Kalidasa.
Post-Gupta Period (550 - 750 CE): Harshavardhana, Pallavas, Chalukyas.
