ART INTEGRATION

Grade 10

Design a series of three digital postcards (using computer graphics tools)


inspired by the three parts of Glimpses of India – Coorg, Tea from Assam,
and Baker from Goa. Each postcard should showcase a visual scene, such as a
tea garden, a bakery, or a Kodagu landscape, integrating elements of
traditional art from the respective state.

Instructions for Students:

1.​ Design three digital postcards – one for each region (Coorg, Goa,
Assam) using tools like:​

○​ Canva, Photoshop, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, or


any digital drawing tool.​

2.​ Each postcard should include:​

○​ A digital image (original creation or edited design)​

○​ A short tagline or quote from the chapter​

○​ Elements inspired by local culture (costumes, food, scenery,


architecture)​

3.​ Accompany your postcards with a brief write-up (150–200 words)


explaining how each design connects to the text.​
