(Recruitment) Rules, 2019, which the Government of Karnataka
Imake in exercise of the powers conferred by

section 3 read with section 8 of the
Karnaaka Slate Civil Services Act, 1978 (Kamataka Act 14 of
1990) was
published as rcquired by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of
section 3 of the
Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 in Notification No.
DPAR 105 SRD
2014. in part VA (PR No. 195) of the
Karnataka Gazette dated 23.05.2019
imviling objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affccted
thereby
within fifteen days from the date of its
publication the Official Gazette.

And Whercas objections and suggestions received in this behalf have been
Considered by the Govermment.

Now, thcrcforc in cxercisc of the pOwers conferred by sub section (1) of

section 3 read with section 8of the Karmataka State Civil Serices Act. 1978
(Karnalaka Act 14 of 1990) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the
following rules.

RULES

1. Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called thc

Kamataka Government Secretariat Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2019.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the
Official Gazelte

2. Method of Recruitment and Minimum gualification.- The

establishment of the Karnataka Government Secretariat Services shall consist of

such categories of posts with scales of pay as specified in column (2) of the
Schedules below, their nunber, thc method of recruttment and minimum
qualitcation, shall be as specitied in the corresponding entrics ncolumn (3). (4)
and (5) thereof.
3. Repeal and Savings. () he Kurnaaka Secretarlat Services
(Recruitment) Rules, I992 are hereby rrpealed:
IProvded that sch repeal shall not allect,

(a) the previous operatton of the said rules or anything duty done or any action
laken under the said ules; or
(b) any right. privilege, obllgation or llability already ncqulred, accrued or
incurred under the sald nules.
