INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Try to buy in-the-shell walnuts and use a nut cracker or a hammer to crack them open. They have
a higher moisture level and preserved omega-3s. Just make sure there are no shell particles in
your walnuts.
2. A food processor will help you pulverize them and achieve a very fine texturethat is not abrasive.
Use the powder as soon as it is prepared, when it has the highest moisture content and before
oils begin oxidation.
3. Pour the powder into a bowl, make a well in the center, add the honey andalmond milk, and mix
thoroughly.
4. Apply to the face and neck. Leave on for 15 minutes; then rinse the mask off with fresh water.
Follow with your regular facial moisturizer.
Brightening Veggie Mask
Just like fruit, vegetables can also be loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that
will improve skin appearance and nourish it. Potatoes are known skin brighteners, as is parsley,
which is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Ginger improves microcirculation, which takes
away toxins and brings in essential nutrients for epithelial cells. Adding a touch of aloe vera is
always a good moisturizing step.
INGREDIENTS :
1 cup boiled and drained potato, diced
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley leaves
Pinch finely grated ginger
1 ounces (60 ml) aloe vera gel
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Mash the potatoes very well, avoiding lumps. Add the lemon juice, parsley, and grated ginger;
then mix. Gradually, fold in the aloe vera gel and mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.
2. Spread on clean skin, face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
3. Wash after 15 minutes unless tingling or other unpleasant skin reaction occurs.
Follow with a moisturizer and sunscreen.
