Thank you for expounding more on this topic of study. It is clear that every institution has its
own strength and weaknesses. The various types of health institutions vary due to various
factors. The broad spectrum of research activities carried out in the large academic medical
centers lead to medical advancements which end up benefiting the entire healthcare
institutions (Rees 2020). The main objective of community not for profit hospitals is to
provide services that benefit the community regardless of the expenses incurred (Choyke et
al.,2022). The fact that charity care is also determined by the organizations efficiency and the
quality of staffing is very fascinating. Individuals should put into consideration factors like
size, profit status and even quality of services before making health decisions.

Your post has indeed shed light into some differences between the various types of health
institutions. Not for profit hospitals are mostly owned by charitable organizations whose main
aim is to help the community by providing them with essential services (Fayed 2021). The
profits gained are reinvested back to the hospitals to cater for services. It’s important to put into
consideration the fact that the healthcare landscape is gradually changing and even the roles of
the various health facilities might change overtime due to economic factors. Both the profit and
not for profit have their pros and cons its therefore important for the policy makers to put a
balance to ensure quality care for everyone (Bai 2022).
