Turn the following sentences into indirect speech

1. Rahul asked me, ‘Did you see the cricket match on TV last night?’
2. James said to his mother, ‘I am leaving for New York tomorrow.’
3. I said to him, ‘Why don’t you work hard?’
4. "Where is your sister?" she asked me.
5. "Does she know Robert?" he wanted to know.
6. ‘What do you want?’ she asked him.
7. ‘Are you coming with us?’ he asked me.

9. ‘Do you come from China?’ said the prince to the girl.
10. The poor man exclaimed, ‘Will none of you help me?’

headmaster said, “Why?” The students said, “We want to make it memorable in our life.” The
headmaster said, “Don’t worry. I shall take all the necessary steps to arrange the function.”
