Note: Welcome to the Signature Weapon Sheet!

This was made by a fanfic writer and lore fanatic that was annoyed they had to
stop and research which weapon each character would have in the middle of writing lol.
Please note a few things:
•Weapons will not be repeated (often, lore-wise, the weapons are unique, with a few exceptions)
•Those with a Canonical Signature Weapon will reflect that weapon on this sheet (Ex: Zhongli– Vortex Vanquisher, Nilou– Key
of Khaj-Nisut, Kokomi– Everlasting Moonglow, etc.)
•This is NOT a list of Best in Slot weapons! In fact, performance in an actual build is only considered as a tie-breaker!
•Characters may only use weapons from their nation!
>The Infusion Series counts as Liyuren, as they all end up in Liyue.
>The Wanderer's Troupe Series counts as Mondstadter because their most notable act was the failed rebellion against
the Mondstadt Aristocracy. (That, and I refuse to have them be "All of Teyvat" and inflict The Bell on more people than
necessary lmao)
>If there is confusion about a weapon's origin, it will not be used and will be placed at the end of the doc!
•The weapon's lore is considered above all else! By lore, I mean the text that shows up under the description of the weapon in the
archive.
>Character or official art does not count as lore and will rarely influence which weapon a character has. This is both to
let the creativity flow a little bit, and to avoid using 3 stars.
•I avoided using 3☆ weapons as much as possible (partially to limit the research needed, and partially because I didn't want 4☆
and 5☆ characters to have 3☆ weapons lol)
>There is a single exception to this rule so far, and that was entirely because I found the weapon lore so utterly fitting
that I had to include it. Yes, this was before I decided not to look at character art.

And of course, the most important note:

•All these guidelines are flexible.

Justifications will be added for the more controversial takes. Comments are enabled if you have a suggestion or want an
explanation. As I said, I didn't research 3 stars because I didn't want to, so if you find one that you think fits for a certain
character, please leave a comment!
>The justifications for Mondstadt are notably lengthier than the other ones in the doc, that's because I'm by far most knowledgeable
about the Mondstadt lore and characters. And also because Mondstadt's a bit of a mess. I'll add justifications to others when I have
time and when I see fit.

Mondstadt (19)
Venti- Skyward Harp
Jean- Aquila Favonia

Albedo- Cinnabar Spindle

Amber- Favonius Warbow
Barbara- Ballad of the Boundless Blue
Bennett- Harbinger of Dawn
Dahlia- Skyward Blade
Diluc- Favonius Greatsword
Diona- Windblume Ode
Eula- Song of Broken Pines
Fischl- Mitternachts Waltz
Kaeya- Favonius Sword
Klee- Dodoco Tales
Lisa- Favonius Codex
Mika- Favonius Lance
Mona- Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
Noelle- Mailed Flower
Razor- Wolf's Gravestone/Snow-Tombed Starsilver
Rosaria- Dragonspine Spear
Sucrose- Sacrificial Fragments

Venti: Elegy is probably his canonical signature, but Skyward Harp seems to fit his lore better:

Harp: "A greatbow that symbolizes Dvalin's Affiliation with the Anemo Archon. The sound of the bow firing is music to the Anemo Archon's
ears."
Elegy: "A bow as lovely as any bard's lyre, its arrows pierce the heart like a lamenting sigh."

Harp: Speaks of Barbatos's songs and how they affected the people and Dvalin.
Elegy: Speaks of Rosalyne's beautiful song and how it changed to become sadder once Rostam died.

Skyward Harp has a more direct connection to Venti, while Elegy for the End focuses more on Rostam's story, with Barbatos awakening to fight
Durin being a footnote in regards to the greater point of Rostam's death and the relationship between him and Signora (then: Rosalyne).

Alternatively: Elegy is what he uses in Bard Form (a supportive weapon), while Skyward Harp is what he uses in Archon Form (a DPS weapon)
Jean: Jean's signature seems to be a toss-up between Aquila Favonia and the Favonius Sword. Aquila Favonia fits better for a few reasons:

Aquila: "The soul of the Knights of Favonius. Millenia later, it still calls on the winds of swift justice to vanquish all evil — just like the last
heroine who wielded it."
Fav: "A standard-issue longsword of the Knights of Favonius"

Aquila is clearly still being wielded, and is the "soul" of the KoF, which means the person who wields it must hold a pretty important position.
Varka, the Grand Master, likely wields a claymore (less likely: a polearm) from what info we know, but Jean, the Acting Grand Master and she
who is constantly overworking for the good of Mondstadt — she who literally got her vision because of her desire to always protect Mondstadt —
well, Jean wields a sword. Not only that, but:

Aquila: Tells of Vennessa's feats, and proclaims that the sword had been with her through it all.
Fav: Explains that it's an honor to receive, requiring approval of both the Knights and Church, and that it can channel elemental power easily.
Elaborates more on Rostam the Wolf Pup's story.

We know that Jean looks up to Vennessa, and aspires to be like her. Rostam, on the other hand, isn't mentioned by Jean at all. So, Aquila is a
better fit.
Bennett: Okay, so this is somewhat tied in with Kaeya. Except, not really. See, if I gave Kaeya the Favonius Sword, I could've given Bennett the
Skyward Blade (since literally none of the available swords vibe with him, imo at least.)

But, upon reading the Harbinger of Dawn's lore, even if I did give Kaeya Fav, I don't think I'd change it. This is literally all you need to know:

"Only one has ever fallen by this blade on the battlefield.

One night, the bearer drew the sword triumphantly.
The night sky lit up as bright as day,
pin-pointing his precise location.
Arrows rained down upon him."

Man literally died because he picked up this sword. I couldn't not give it to him after reading that.
Diluc: Favonius Greatsword seems odd when Wolf's Gravestone is right there, huh? Well, we know that Diluc used to be part of the knights, and
that he actually became the youngest ever Cavalry Captain. So, it's not unlikely that he was issued a Favonius Greatsword, which — like all of the
Favonius series — requires both the Church and Knights to approve of. But, that just means that he could've been issued a Fav, not that it's his
signature above WG. Here's why I believe it should be his signature:

Fav: Tells the story of Arundolyn, and how he took great joy in showing off his power, until his close childhood friend, Rostam, died. Then, he
saw no glory in challenging monsters. "Their childhood friendship was forged from a shared dream of heroism. As young men, they became
fellow knights."
WG: Tells of the Knight of Boreas and Boreas, their travels, Boreas's death, and how Boreas still looks after the land he once protected, long after
the Knight decides to leave and live the life of a lone wolf.
Personally, I think Arundolyn and Rostam's story is more relatable to Diluc than that of the Knight of Boreas. I specified the childhood friendship
part for a reason: Kaeya. See, both Kaeya and Diluc were extremely close growing up, and both joined the knights (it's commented that they were
much like twins). Until, of course, the day of Crepus's death. Diluc's connection to Kaeya was severely damaged, and Epoch's order to conceal the
truth of Crepus's death destroyed Diluc's faith in the Knights. Much like Arundolyn, he lost his best friend, and afterwards there was no passion
left for the Knights.

Of course, there is still a strong reasoning for WG, given that Kaeya stays behind in the Knights to protect Mondstadt after the "death" of their
bond while Diluc goes off to travel Teyvat, but I think the Favonius Greatsword's connection is the stronger and more interesting of the two!
Diona: Hers was… really hard actually. Elegy and the Stringless were eliminated immediately, and Alley Hunter's lore focuses on Parsifal's goals
and his love for the blue-eyed witch. It was certainly to be considered, as Diona's goal is to take down the Wind Industry for Mondstadt's good
(even if it's a rather short-sighted goal), but it wasn't a strong connection.

This left the Windblume Ode, and the bows from the two hardest to assign series. See, the Sacrificial and Royal series both belong or belonged to
the Lawrence clan, which makes them incredibly hard to assign. Which means that I prefer to use all other options first.

Windblume Ode tells of the origin of the Windblume, Mondstadt's rebellion against Decarabian, and how the Windblume now symbolizes
gladness and love rather than being a signal to rebel. It didn't really seem to fit Diona, but I suppose she is rebelling against Mondstadt as a whole
to take down their Wind Industry, and she's doing it out of love, so no child would be neglected as she had been.

I'm honestly not sure, but it fits slightly more than Alley Hunter, as I highly doubt she's got any romantic sort of love to strengthen that
connection.
Mona: Skyward Atlas is widely believed to be Mona's intended signature weapon, as it's used in her Story Quest. This is probably true, but I
don't think the lore vibes very much. So, the other option was Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, since I wanted to consider 5 stars for her first.

Skyward Atlas: Over 100,000 odes to the clouds and winds, calling them all by name. Tells of how Barbatos is the only one that truly knows all
of them after so much time, and how he called upon them (including Dvalin) for help in his fight against Durin. This atlas was given to someone
worthy of it.

LPttSW: An educational book of scriptures that keeps growing with every passing generation, then it took flight, taking its freedom just as the
citizens of Mondstadt had.

Mona has more of a connection to the stars than anything, but I looked through the 4☆ options and most other Mondstadt catalysts are books of
songs, which I think connects even less to Mona. So we have a book that ran off to experience freedom vs. a book of odes that was given to
someone worthy of it.

The connections for both of them are weak lore-wise, so I picked the funnier of the two. Mona's broke, right? And the LPttSW flew off to
experience freedom. Who's to say it didn't fly off to Fontaine and decide to stay with her while she was studying lmao. The thought of Mona
having a sentient catalyst that just sticks around because she's cool is hilarious to me. Much more than the Atlas, which could have been entrusted
to her by her master or another member of the Hexenzirkel who was found "worthy" of it.
Razor: Razor has options for one reason and one reason only:

The Wolf's Gravestone likely belongs to Varka. Varka is not playable yet.

So Razor gets to keep it until then. Who knows, Varka might release with his own signature weapon, in which case we'll say Varka gave his
claymore to the random wolf-kid he found in the woods. The Snow-Tombed Starsilver was chosen over Skyward Pride or The Bell as a backup
because it seemed to vibe more with him. It speaks of Imunlaukr and how he found everyone dead when he returned from his failed quest. Then
he left the sword there and went to seek a place to fight. Like, he quite literally wants to find somewhere to bathe in blood. Idk why, but it just
vibes more with Razor.

Unused Mondstadt Weapons (4+5☆ only)

Swords: The Alley Flash, Festering Desire*, Royal Longsword, The Black Sword*, The Flute, Sacrificial Sword, Wolf-Fang
Claymores: Royal Greatsword, Sacrificial Greatsword, The Bell, Skyward Pride
Polearms: Skyward Spine, Missive Windspear, Royal Spear, Deathmatch
Bows: Elegy for the End, Alley Hunter, Royal Bow, The Stringless, Sacrificial Bow
Catalysts: Frostbearer, Royal Grimoire, The Widsith, Wine and Song, Skyward Atlas

*May be moved to a future region if Khaenri'ah ends up being a region, however its close ties to Dragonspine make that a mere possibility.
*May be moved if the Abyss becomes a region, as the Bloodstained Knight is allied with the Abyss.
Liyue (21)
Zhongli- Vortex Vanquisher
Ningguang- Memory of Dust

Baizhu- Jadefall's Splendor

Beidou- Serpent Spine
Chongyun- Rainslasher
Gaming- Blackcliff Slasher
Ganyu- Amos' Bow
Hu Tao- Staff of Homa
Keqing- Lion's Roar
Lan Yan- Sacrificial Jade
Qiqi- Summit Shaper
Shenhe- Calamity Queller
Xiangling- Blackcliff Pole
Xianyun- Crane's Echoing Call
Xiao- Primordial Jade Winged-Spear
Xingqiu- Iron Sting
Xinyan- The Unforged
Yanfei- Eye of Perception
Yaoyao- Dragon's Bane
Yelan- Aqua Simulacra
Yun Jin- Crescent Pike

Ningguang: Solar Pearl is also somewhat likely to be her signature, but Memory of Dust seems like a better fit considering her position in Liyue
is similar to Guizhong's.
Chongyun: Gift from Xingqiu IG (Guhua sword), it was this or Blackcliff/Prototype, which are pretty hard to decide between, so I decided I
wasn't dealing with that headache.
Keqing: An argument can be made for Primordial Jade Cutter, but Lion's Roar is too iconic for her.
Qiqi: Argument can be made for Primordial Jade Cutter, but I prefer Summit Shaper because it needs a shield and Baizhu provides a shield
(though technically he can't shield co-op partners as far as I know)
Xingqiu: It's a rapier from a foreign land (Mondstadt) which means it was probably expensive. Also, it's a rapier. You cannot tell me someone
like Xingqiu wouldn't own a rapier at the slightest opportunity.

Unused Liyue Weapons

Swords: Primordial Jade Cutter, Blackcliff Longsword, Prototype Rancour
Claymores: Whiteblind, Lithic Blade, Prototype Archaic
Polearms: Lithic Spear, Prototype Starglitter

Sayu- Katsuragikiri Nagamasa
Shikanoin Heizou- Hakushin Ring
Thoma- Kitain Cross Spear
Yoimiya- Thundering Pulse
Yumemizuki Mizuki- Sunny Morning Sleep-In

Kirara: Inazuma had two swords to choose from, and Kuki definitely doesn't vibe with the umbrella. That said, Kirara doesn't really relate to the
Amenoma Kageuchi much either, so this was literally her only option. It is a fellow yōkai, I guess? I'm not going through the 3 stars, but if you
find one that you think fits, feel free to comment!

Unused Inazuma Weapons

Swords:
Claymores: Akuoumaru
Polearms: The Catch, Wavebreaker's Fin, Tamayuratei No Ohanashi

Wanderer- Tulaytullah's Remembrance

Collei: Couldn't choose, you can make an argument for either one. She also definitely has the Ibis Piercer*, because we both know that's exactly
the type of gift Cyno would give…

"Wow, your dad let you have three bows?"

Alternatively, she and Tighnari jointly own the Ibis Piercer because it's actually pretty good.
Layla: Mostly for the Aesthetic and name, because I don't think the sapwood blade vibes with her
Unused Sumeru Weapons
Swords: Sapwood Blade
Claymores:
Polearms: Dialogue of the Desert Sages
Bows:
Catalysts: Fruit of Fulfillment, Wandering Evenstar

*This is why Ibis Piercer isn't listed as unused in Inazuma or Sumeru
