Is the system installed with another termite No
management system?:
1. The Client is aware that during the treatment period termites may continue to cause further
damage to the Client's property. Once termites starts feeding on the Termite Bait, it is normally
observed that termites from that colony cease feeding on the timbers in the Client's property.
Since no method of termite management can guarantee protection of the client's property
against termites neither the treatment company nor the treatment technician accepts any
liability for future termite damage. The Client agrees not to tamper or interfere with the
treatment System or its components. Tampering may render the System ineffective or
significantly delay the time to colony elimination.
2. The treatment does not include treating against Drywood termites (e.g. Cryptotermes brevis)
or any exotic Timber Pests as Drywood termites typically live entirely inside a piece of timber with
no visible evidence.
3. This Certificate of termite installation and durable notice is issued to comply with AS 3660.2-
2017 Existing Buildings.
4. The duration of any termiticide product depends on several factors, including environmental
conditions, and conducive conditions to termite attack, previous activities, and density of
termites on the site. Accordingly Treated Zones need to be replenished over time. The installer
will provide advice on the frequency of replenishment.
5. Chemical termite management products are commonly used with concrete slab construction.
The chemical is applied to the ground, under the entire slab and around the perimeter of the
building. If this system is used, then the Chemical termite products and concrete forms part of
the management treatment system.
6. Third parties may not rely on this certificate as this certificate is issued for the person who
requested and paid for the treatment.

GENERAL ADVICE AND WARNINGS
WHAT TO DO TO MINIMISE RISK OF TERMITES
1. Inspect around your dwelling- keep plants or garden beds well away from the building
and weep holes.
2. Rectify any moisture problems like inadequate storm water drainage, broken or leaking
pipes or poor ventilation or air flow in sub floors.
3. Do not keep materials under the house that impedes and reduces the ventilation space
and air flow.
4. Do not keep loose timber on the ground near the house.
5. New houses should be constructed with the appropriate methods and materials.
6. You must inform us as soon as it has come to your attention of any new termite activities.
You must not disturb the termites as they will disappear to a new location.
7. Arrange for regular yearly pest inspections or more often in high-risk termite locations
and adopt their recommendations to treat and prevent termites.
LIMITATIONS OF TERMITE MANAGEMENT AND TERMITE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Several factors can limit the ability of pest managers and/or termite management systems to
achieve desired outcomes. Such factors, generally beyond the control of pest managers, may
include:
1. Constraints imposed by building designs;
2. Construction issues and faults;
3. Site conditions, especially as affected by soil levels and landscaping;
4. Limited access to inspect and/or apply treatments to certain areas of buildings;
5. The presence of vegetation close to buildings;
6. Poor or inadequate ventilation of sub-floor areas;
7. Poor or inadequate drainage beneath and around buildings;
8. Disturbance to (and, therefore, breaching of) termite management systems after they
have been installed;
9. Deliberate or accidental placement of foreign objects over or around termite
management systems (bridging), enabling termites to gain unfettered access to
buildings;
10. Client failure to follow pest managers' recommendations for on-going system care and
maintenance.
