Subject: Resignation
Dear Mr. Dudley,
It is with great sadness that I must announce my resignation from the Scissors Tyler Inc.,
effective immediately.
I won’t pretend that we always saw eye to eye. There were many times I thought your decisions,
for the project betterment or not, would damage my own chances of a professional career. I am
proud to have served with such professional and hard-working team that bring into life great
projects.
That said, is not a lie, when I say I very much enjoyed my time working under you in this
project, and that I learned a lot under your tutorship. In particular, your comments on both my
technique and logical structures of code have helped me greatly. You have assembled an
impressive programmer coaching staff, and their competence shines through in every aspect of
the project.
My decision to move to Gilbert Software systems comes only from my own personal desire to
change my programming specialization. Were I offered the same conditions for my professional
development under your project—terms we discussed before making my decision—I’d still be
here, because I got used to the company and support the main ideas of the project. However, I
need a self-development in other fields that is my current goal for my future 2 years.
Mr. Dudley, I want to thank you again for all your time and help in my junior programming
career. Though we may leave under strained circumstances, I assure you my feelings towards
you, your project, and Scissors Tyler Inc. as a whole are nothing but positive. I sincerely wish
you and other members the very best with the future work. And I have no doubt that under your
brilliant leadership, all projects will be successful and prosperous. I’m opened to continue or
communications, so you can e-mail or call me anytime.
Hope to see you on the Hi-Tech conference this December.
Sincerely,
George Walley

Subject: Resignation
Dear Mr Mardoff,
I am writing to formally inform you of my resignation from my current job title as a Human
Resource Manager with Lanterns Enterprises. My final day of work will be June 12 in
compliance with my employment contract. My reason for departure is in light of a new
employment contract that I signed with Lubricant Enterprises in Wisconsin. My resignation is
equally in tandem with allowing me adequate time for preparation for my new job assignment in
one month’s time.
During the course of the past ten years, I have highly enjoyed my tenure at Lantern Enterprises
which has been mutually beneficial for all the employees. I wish to express my deep gratitude for
the trust and confidence in service that you bestowed upon me during my tenure at the company.
I equally express my appreciation for your excellent counsel and leadership which has been
exemplary during my tenure at Lanterns Enterprises. I am highly appreciative of the immense
skills I have gained in administration, leadership and communication from your organization,
which will be of immense value in my future endeavors.
I consider myself highly fortunate in being employed at Lanterns Enterprises and I have grown
to appreciate the essence of placing the customers’ interest first in a highly competitive business
environment. To this end, kindly acknowledge this letter of resignation and I will do my best to
ensure the completion of pending projects and a smooth hand over. I wish you and the company
growth and success in the future.
Sincerely,
Wilson Mcbride

Vice President of Operations
Washington Mutual

Subject: Resignation
Dear Mr. Johnson,
It is with mixed feelings that I must ask you to consider this letter as a notice of my resignation from my
position as Corporate Accountant, effective June 30, 2020. In preparation for the upcoming arrival of my
first child, I have decided this is best for my family right now. Motherhood is something I would like to
be able to devote all my time and energy to, at least as I attempt to navigate it for the first time.
While I am extremely excited about the changes that I will be experiencing in my life shortly, I know the
knowledge I have gained here is irreplaceable. I realize that I was probably a risky hire with my lack of
experience, but I am so thankful you took a chance with me. In my six years with Washington Mutual, I
have learned more than I could have ever hoped to learn. I am leaving now with the knowledge and
capability to solve problems that I could not even have dreamed of. Prior to working here, I had not heard
of accelerated depreciation, liquidity ratios or variable overhead. I am so proud to say that I am now not
only more than capable of defining said terms, but also handling multi-million dollar portfolios all on my
own. The confidence I have gained because of all the knowledge you have shared with me is a priceless
gift.
I also want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for my recent promotion to Corporate
Accountant. Though this new position has proved to be challenging at times, the mental stimulation has
been inspiring. I know that all the opportunities Washington Mutual has given me will contribute
tremendously toward my future success, both as a mother, and perhaps someday again as an accountant.
I particularly enjoyed working for you, Mr. Johnson. I truly appreciate the way you manage the office
with the perfect balance of discipline and encouragement. I always felt incredibly supported by
management because of your innovative leadership techniques and the effort you put forth for all of us.
I will miss everyone terribly. My favorite part of working here has always been the office camaraderie. I
loved every moment of my time here, from the office picnics to casual dress Fridays. One of my favorite
memories while working at this company was the park clean-up we did last Memorial day weekend. The
values that Washington Mutual strives to uphold are values that I will definitely take with me as I begin to
move in a different direction with my life.
Thank you again for all the knowledge you have taught me and the many opportunities you have
presented to me during my time at Washington Mutual. I am leaving the company an infinitely better
individual than when I came. I will always look back on my time here with nothing but unending
gratitude and fond memories. Please rest assured that in my remaining three weeks, I will do everything I
can to make sure all my accounts are in order and I will be more than happy to work with my appointed
successor to ensure a seamless transition for everyone.
Sincerely yours,
Lauren Bro
