Re: Waiver of Minimum Balance charges on non-maintenance of monthly average
minimum balance in all Saving Accounts excluding specific Saving Accounts with
Value Added Services w.e.f. 18' July 2025
This has reference to circular No HO: BR: 117: 12 dated 28.01.2025, wherein applicability of
Minimum Balance charges in Saving Accounts was changed from Quarterly Average balance
(QAB) to Monthly Average balance (MAB) w.e.f. 01.03.2025 as under:

lt has been decided to provide waiver of minimum balance charges in saving accounts w.e.f.
1St July 2025 on non-maintenance of monthly average minimum balance excluding product
specific Saving Bank Schemes under specialized segment mandating a certain balance for
which value-added services are being offered by the Bank.
Further, the charges which has fallen due or lien are marked in the saving accounts due to
non-recovery / partial recovery of applicable minimum balance charges till 30.06.2025 will be
continued to recover depending upon the availability of sufficient account balance in Saving
Accounts.
Post implementation of the changes with immediate effect, any shortfall occurring in Saving
Accounts on account of non-maintenance of monthly average balance will not attract any
minimum balance charges excluding specific Saving Accounts with Value Added Services.

customers.
