DIVINE VISITATION THAT CHANGES STORY

Genesis 18:1-19

PRAYERS:
1. Every evil satanic agenda to visit me this season and beyond, I command you now be
aborted and frustrated in the name of Jesus.
2. Father by your visit to me today alter, reverse, and undo whatever a demonic visitation
did to me in the past in the name of Jesus.

Divine Visitation when compelled is key to interventions. Nothing compensates for


wasted years, delay, and hopelessness like divine Visitation. Divine Visitation is the
mother of possibilities, where hard matters are cheaply humbled and handled.
Abraham went from promises to an instant performance by the visitation of God. He
even had the privilege of knowing the next move of God on the earth, because God
visited him. When you know the future you are not bothered about the present.

FACTS TO NOTE
1. Divine Visitation is real. Divine visitation is man receiving God's individual, undivided
attention. It is having God all to yourself at a particular moment.
2. God can visit again and again (Gen. 21:1-7)
3. God is pleased to visit His people. (Heb. 2:6, Psalm 8:4, Gen. 3:8)
4. God visit many times in human form. (Josh. 5:13-15)
5. God, many times operate both on earth and in heaven at the same time. (Isaiah 66:1a,
Gen 3:8)
6. God many times gives men an opportunity to compel his visit.
7. Men, many times miss out on the visitations of God. It has dire consequences. (Luke
19:44)

HOW TO SECURE GOD'S VISIT, TAKING LESSONS FROM GENESIS 18.


1. Have a life of Worship – (Gen. 18:2)
2. You must be rightly positioned: (Gen. 18:1) Your problems push you to be positioned
for the visit of God. (1 Sam 10:1-7). If you don’t have trouble you will not develop spiritual
muscle.
3. Spiritual discernment and sensitivity. Ability to perceive.
4. Sense of urgency and humility
5. Prayed: He knew there are problems only God can solve. He prayed because he knew
God can pass him by; prayers indicated he needed the visit. How can you say you need
God's visit and you can't pray?
6. Readiness to meet God's needs first.
7. Giving, offering, and sacrifices. Investment is proof of genuine interest.
8. Recognize God as your Lord and Master. You have to be born again to maximize the
visit of God.
HOW THIS VISITATION CHANGES STORY
1. It opens us up to God's intervention
2. It guarantees an encounter with the spirit of God
3. It opens our eye of understanding, thereby flooding us with light
4. It shields us from the attack of the enemy
5. It guarantees our breakthrough and advancement
