HELPING AT HOME
In many families, everyone helps with housework. Parents often cook meals, wash
clothes, or clean the house, while children may help too. Some common chores include
doing the dishes, sweeping the floor, and making the bed. These tasks keep the home
clean and organized.
On weekends, families sometimes work together. One person might do the laundry,
while another mops the floor or tidies the living room. Children often make their beds
and help clean the kitchen after meals. These jobs may seem small, but they are
important.
Learning to help at home teaches children responsibility. They also learn how to care
for the place where they live. Whether it’s doing the shopping or making dinner, each
task helps the family.
