Keanu Reeves

He is a Canadian actor and musician who was born on September 2, 1964 in Beirut. His childhood
was spent between Australia, New York and Toronto. His father is of Chinese-Hawaiian origin and
his mother is British. At 16 he traveled to Los Angeles to work as an actor. His first performance
was in the television series: Hanging.

At the age of twenty-two he made his film debut: with the films Flying (1986), by Paul Lynch,
and Forge of Champions (1986), by Peter Markle, in which he only had supporting roles. Keanu
rose to fame with his performance in My Private Idaho (1991), by the controversial director, Gus
van Sant, this work was considered by many people as a masterpiece of independent cinema in the
United States.

From this moment on, his activity achieved recognition from the public and the media. Given this,
Keanu formed a very discreet position before the media, magazines and covers.

Reeves has consolidated the image of an introverted, solitary and very discreet man, who always
stays away from the world of entertainment. And he refuses to be the object of the press. One of
his best-known phrases is: "I am a normal man who enjoys what he does."

Reeves is also a film director. His first film as a director was Man of Tai Chi, released in 2013, and
screened at the Beijing Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.

organization; He has also supported PETA, the SickKids Foundation, and Stand Up to Cancer. In
2014, in an interview he said that his sister Kim had battled leukemia for more than a decade.

already earned for centuries to come."
