YORK CITY (The most British city in England)

- York is a cathedral city in North Yorkshire, England, with Roman
origins, sited at the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Foss. It is the
county town of Yorkshire. It is the largest settlement and the
administrative center of the wider City of York district.
- In the Middle Ages, it became the northern England ecclesiastical
province's center and grew as a wool-trading center. In the 19th
century, it became a major railway network hub and confectionery
manufacturing center. It has been a city since the 12th century and is
one of the most historically significant cities in England.

York Minster, castles, and city walls.

York City walls must be shorter than York Minister. Visitors can enjoy its
stunning architecture and intricate stained glass, with a rewarding view from
the 275-step climb to the central tower.
