from other rightful source.
Get all the required documents ready and intact before embarking on
the journey to your exam center. Be wise, choose a center you know

Once you a11ly for NDA kindly stay out of troube to avoid been
wounded... Remember if you get wounded and that 1lace is been

medical as not been 1hysically vt. So to know your stand always stay
out of trouble for your own good.
Wake u1 very early and revise again . Then take your bath and get
every documents ready before leaving don't leave none behind. Go
with your writng materials.
When you get to your exam center, kindly check your name on the list

When you get it vll in your name, jamb registraton number, your
state of origin, exam center , course of study and faculty correctly.
When you get the queston and answer 1a1ers kindly go through the
questons vrst before shading the answers. Read each queston
atleast two tmes before answering, ski1 the ones you don't know for
that moment and come back to it later and answer them calmly.
NDA exam tme is sufficient, unless you are a dumb . 300hrs this
means 3hours is given to candidates to answer all the questons. So its
left for you in what to do with your tme. Be wise and smart once

There Will be 1laces where you will submit your answer scri1ts
according to the subjects.
Don't make mistake and submit your subjects in the wrong 1laces. Be
careful and ask questons in where you don't understand.
If you have successfully done all these, kindly go home quietly and
1ray harder for exam success.
The exam is strictly on merit, just read very well with the right books
and you will 1ass the entrance examinaton. Don't forget to get the
1astquestons and answers for rightful exam questons.
If you did very well in the entrance examinaton you will make the
list.
Few weeks later the successful list of candidates that merit the
entrance examinaton will 1ublished for Armed force selecton board
interview in Kaduna.
1. Documentaton stage
2. Credental stage
3. Medical stage
4. Physical stage
1. Credental Screening
Each and everyone in your state will submit the 1hotoco1ies of their
certvcates( 1rimary and secondary school certvcates), any required
certvcate you fail to come with you will be given few days to get it
before the credental screening result. So to avoid much stress and
1ressure, get everything ready before going for the interview. After
the credental screening, few days will be used to cross check
everybody's certvcates ...after that, very early in the morning AFSB
will call the chest numbers of candidates that didn't 1ass the
credental screening and they will be sent home that morning after
they have vnish telling them what disqualived them.
3. Weight
5. Blood test
6. Urine test
7. Eyes test
8. Tooth test
Each candidate will undergo all these test before another stage of the
interview will begin. So anyone that fails any of those tests will be
disqualived and will be sent out of the 1remises after telling them
what disqualived them. This is the hardest stage of the AFSB
interview. This stage eliminates about 60-90% of each state, once you
1ass medical screening you have 90% of getting admission into the
Nigerian Defence Academy de1ending on how hard you will try in the
next stages called com1ettve stages, once you 1ass medical
screening you are entering a very high com1ettve stages, this
com1etton is between you and your fellow state men. So it is left for
you to fold your hands and double cross your legs and watch them
su1er 1ass you, less candidates in any state in relaton to the number
of candidates that will be taken that year is also an advantage to
every candidate in that state. So be smart and strong so that you will
merit vnal list. Remember if you have a godfather, its not only you
that have godfather in your state..just do the best in you and leave
the rest to be considered. The most 1ainful stage of theinterview is
the medical screening, you get disqualived in medical screening it
signived that you are not medically qualifed to be a military
officer...so nobody can hel1 you in that stage not even your godfather
he knows the next thing that will follow it is death. Do you want to
die in the cause of the military training? Your answer will be NO!
Lols...it may sound funny but its a serious thing... That's why 1eo1le
say that medical is strong!. But I assure you don't 1anic I will tell you
how kee1 vt medically and 1hysically in order to 1ass the medical
screening. You see in this medical screening the highest 1roblem
candidates have is High blood 1ressure, do you know why? Don't
worry just read down you will know the reasons why many
candidates have high B.P during this screening.
Here you will know the causes of those sicknesses above, and the
treatments/cure.
TEST ONE
BLOOD PRESURE.
Is a conditon in which the force of the blood against the artery walls
is too high.
Sym1toms
Self-care
Medicatons
2. Fear/ anxiety. Fear makes your heart to beatng fast, and when
your heart is beatng uneasy your blood 1ressure will devnitely go
very high, so you to control it.
Sto1 thinking about the outcomes of the b1 test, just free your mind
from it and focus on that will kee1 you calm and ha11y during the
test. Drink enough water moderately, drink enough in day, less in the
night. Eat moringa seeds all tme, drink water after eatng it, and more
of exercises . If you do all these there is no how you will have high
blood 1ressure during the screening.
3. Stress.
Avoid doing stressful actvites, it makes your heart to work very hard
thereby making it to 1um1 much blood and much 1ressure exert on
the blood vessels. When this ha11ens your blood 1ressure will go
high. So get rid of it those 1rocedures.
WEIGHT
Don't drink water before meals. This can vll your stomach and make it
harder to get in enough calories.
Try weight gainer shakes. If you’re really struggling then you can try
weight gainer shakes. These are very high in 1rotein, carbs and
calories.
Use bigger 1lates. Devnitely use large 1lates if you’re trying to get in
more calories, as smaller 1lates cause 1eo1le to automatcally eat
less.
Add cream to your cofee. This is a sim1le way to add in more calories.
Eat your 1rotein vrst and vegetables last. If you have a mix of foods
on your 1late, eat the calorie-dense and 1rotein-rich foods vrst. Eat
the vegetables last.
HEIGHT
EYE TEST
Li1iflow, a 1rocedure that uses heat and 1ressure to treat dry eyes.
Natural ways.
Eat a healthy diet. Eatng a healthy diet can hel1 you maintain your
health, but it won't 1revent glaucoma from worsening. ...
COMPETITIVE STAGES
3.2km race.
A1ttude test
Obstacle crossing
And 1sychology.
In these stages you are now com1etng with your fellow state men,
and you are the one that will remove yourself nobody will screening
you out, after credental screening and medical screening.
3.2 KM RACE
Any candidate that enters 3rd cage should 1ray harder because you
might not enter the gate if the 1o1ulaton of candidates is stll very
high in relaton to the number of candidates that will be taken 1er
state after the AFSB interview. So make sure you enter vrst or second
cage for your own good.
SLEEP
Last week’s workouts were 1retty hard and you’ve basically vnished
your training. Now it is tme to give your body the chance to recover
and re1air. And the best way to do that is slee1. Try to go to bed
every night at the same tme and get eight to ten hours of slee1.
NUTRITION
Eat a balanced and healthy diet, es1ecially now. Make sure to get
1lenty of carbs in the last four days before the race to vll u1 your
glycogen stores. Of course, I’m not talking about chocolate and ice
cream, but com1lex long-chain carbohydrates (e.g. 1asta, 1otatoes
and rice). You should eat the last big meal 12-15 hours before the
race. Most marathons have a 1re-race 1asta 1arty. The main thing is
to avoid hard-to-digest foods or anything new or diferent to what
you usually eat the night before the race.
FLUIDS
BODY
You have trained hard and are ready to 1eak. Take extra s1ecial care
of yourself in the last week(s). If you go for a run in the rain, make
sure to wra1 yourself u1 in warm clothes afterward to avoid catching
a cold. The last week is not a good tme to go on a long hike or bicycle
tour. It’s better to kick back, 1ut your legs u1 and listen to your body.
If you don’t feel like going for an easy 40-minute run, then ski1 it. It’s
very easy to do too much at this stage.
RUNNING
Make sure to run the day before the race to loosen u1. 20 minutes of
easy running followed by four strides is a good a11et(er. Any more
would be too much and might leave you feeling tred or sore the next
day.
VISUALIZE
CHANGES
If your training routne has been going well, then the rule is: don’t
change anything! Small changes in your diet or your morning routne
can have disastrous consequences during the race.
BREAKFAST
You should eat breakfast three to four hours before the race. I like to
eat oatmeal with bananas, a11les, nuts and a touch of cinnamon. It
tastes good, gets me going and 1rovides me with energy for the race.
Now really isn’t the tme to try anything new, just eat the same as you
have been in training. Get all those things ready all the tme when
CROSSING
Ribadu cam1us for AFSB interview, because you can never tell if you
will go for the race, its starts immediately after medical screening
results have been called.Be smart!
OBSTACLE CROSSING
An obstacle course is a series of challenging 1hysical obstacles an
individual, team or animal must navigate, usually while being tmed.
Obstacle courses can include running, climbing, jum1ing, crawling,
swimming, and balancing elements with the aim of testng s1eed,
endurance and agility. Sometmes a course involves mental
tests.Every candidates will undergo this 1rocess and must do it very
well as instructed, remember don't touch the red bar you will see
during this obstacle crossing.
PSYCHOLOGY TEST
In this stage, every candidate will be called into the room according to
their chest number, state by state, in that room many military
generals will be there to ask candidates base on their course of study
and current afairs. So it is very very advice able to along with your
text books and current afairs, read them all tme and kee1 yourself
intellectually actve. After this vnal stage , all candidates will be
allowed to go back to their various homes and wait for the vnal list to
be out. Armed Force Selecton Board will now score each candidate
according to their 1erformances during the screening and select the
best candidates for admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy for
that available regular course. So these are all you need to know and
do before you become a cadet of Nigerian Defence Academy.
