The General Assembly,
Recognising statements from the U.S. Department of Defense (USA.gov) that summit the
adoption of advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to ensure the U.S. warfighters
maintain decision advantage on battlefield,
Acknowledging points from The Department Of State and USAID Overview (U.S.
Department of State) that highlight that artificial intelligence will help strengthen global health
security and combat infectious disease threats,
Believing that artificial intelligence will renew U.S. leadership and mobilize alliances to
address the global challenges that have the greatest impact on Americans’ security and well
being,
Noting that artificial intelligence systems can analyze vast amounts of data, providing military
leaders with better insights and faster decision-making capabilities,
Applauding that artificial intelligence technologies, such as autonomous systems and
predictive analytics, can enhance military operations by identifying patterns and detecting
threats,
Operative Clauses:
(1) Acknowledging the integration of AI in warfare will significantly enhance the US military's
effectiveness, enabling faster and more informed decision-making through:
a. AI-powered systems will enable the US military to respond more quickly and
effectively to emerging threats (Defense.gov);
b. Advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms will help identify patterns and
predict enemy behavior (Rand.org);
c. Autonomous systems will enhance military capabilities, enabling the US to conduct
complex operations with greater precision and accuracy (C4ISRNet.com);
(2) Affirming the US military will utilize AI-driven technologies to improve safety and security,
protecting personnel and assets from potential threats by:
a. AI-driven surveillance and reconnaissance systems will provide real-time monitoring
(Defense.gov);
b. Predictive analytics will help identify potential security risks, allowing for proactive
measures to mitigate them (Brookings.edu);
c. AI-powered cybersecurity systems will detect and neutralize threats, protecting

(3) Alarmed by the integration of AI will significantly improve the efficiency and productivity of
US military operations by:
a. AI will automate routine tasks, freeing up personnel to focus on higher-level strategic

b. Advanced logistics and supply chain management systems will optimize resource

c. AI-powered predictive maintenance will help prevent equipment failures, reducing

(4) Aware of the US military will leverage AI-powered sensors and advanced analytics to
gather and process vast amounts of data, providing valuable insights into enemy behavior
and intentions by:

(5) Bearing in mind the US will prioritize responsible development and deployment of AI
technologies through:

c. The US will invest in research and development to address the ethical and legal

(6) Confident the US military will continue to invest in advancements in AI technology such
as:
