BELIEF IN ALLAH
1. How does the belief in Allah's Oneness (Tawheed) influence a Muslim's life and actions?
- The belief in Allah's Oneness (Tawheed) shapes a Muslim’s life by encouraging complete
submission to Allah’s will, reliance on Him alone, and avoidance of shirk (associating partners
with Allah). It brings clarity of purpose, as every action is performed to seek Allah’s pleasure,
and it instills accountability, knowing Allah is All-Knowing.Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Say, He is Allah, [Who is] One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is
there to Him any equivalent." (Surah Al-Ikhlas : 1-4)
This verse highlights the importance of Tawheed, teaching Muslims to worship and trust Allah
alone, and not depend on anything else or false gods.
2. What is Iman Billah (belief in Allah), and why is it important for Muslims?
Iman Billah means believing in Allah as the One true God. It is important for Muslims because it
forms the foundation of their faith and guides them to live a life that pleases Allah. It helps
them make good choices, stay away from wrong actions, and trust that Allah knows what is
best for them.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Believe in Allah and His Messenger..." (Surah Al-Ma'idah :92)
This verse shows that belief in Allah is the first step in being a good Muslim and following His
guidance.
BELIEF IN ANGELS
1. Can we see angels, and how do we know they exist?
No, we cannot see angels because they are created from light and are invisible to humans. We
know they exist because Allah tells us in the Qur'an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH). Their presence and actions are a part of Allah’s plan.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
"The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the
believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers."
(Surah Al-Baqarah)
2.What is the importance of believing in angels in Islam, and how does it impact a Muslim’s
faith?
Believing in angels is an important part of a Muslim’s faith because it strengthens the
understanding of Allah’s power. Angels are part of Allah’s creation, and they have specific roles,
like delivering Allah’s messages, protecting people, and recording their deeds. This belief helps
Muslims feel a deeper connection to Allah, knowing that He has a divine system in place to
manage everything. It also encourages Muslims to strive to do good deeds, as they believe
angels are recording their actions, both good and bad. Belief in angels reminds Muslims of the
unseen world and the importance of fulfilling Allah’s commands.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Say, 'Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Jibril and Mika'il –
then indeed Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.'" (Surah Al-Baqarah)
BELIEF IN THE HOLY BOOKS
1. Why do Muslims believe in the Holy Books, and what are they?
Muslims believe in the Holy Books because they are the direct revelations from Allah, sent to
guide humanity throughout different times and places. The main books include the Qur'an,
which is the final and most complete revelation, and the earlier scriptures: the Torah (given to
Prophet Musa), the Psalms (given to Prophet Dawud), the Gospel (given to Prophet Isa) and
Suhuf (given by Prophet Ibrahim). Each of these books was revealed to a specific prophet to
help guide their people, but Muslims believe that all of them carry the same core message of
worshiping Allah alone. The Qur'an, however, is considered the most important because it
contains the final and unaltered message for all of humanity. By believing in these books,
Muslims accept that Allah has always provided guidance to humanity through His chosen
messengers.
2. Why is the Qur'an considered the most important Holy Book for Muslims?
The Qur'an is considered the most important Holy Book for Muslims because it is the final
revelation from Allah, sent to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Unlike earlier scriptures, the Qur'an
has been preserved without change, and it contains complete guidance for all aspects of life. It
teaches Muslims how to worship Allah, treat others, and live a good life. The Qur'an is also
considered a miracle because of its language, depth, and wisdom, and Muslims believe it is the
ultimate source of guidance for humanity until the end of time
.Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable..." (Surah Al-Isra)
This verse shows how the Qur'an provides the most complete and accurate guidance for
Muslims to follow.
BELIEF IN THE PROPHETS
1. Why do Muslims believe in the prophets, and what is their role in Islam?
Muslims believe in the prophets because they are chosen by Allah to deliver His guidance to
humanity. The prophets were sent to teach people about worship, morality, and the correct
way of living according to Allah’s will. Their role is to spread the message of Islam and guide
their followers on how to live righteously. The final and greatest prophet is Muhammad (PBUH),
who brought the Qur'an as the last and most complete revelation. Belief in the prophets is
important for Muslims because it connects them to the divine guidance given to humanity
throughout history.
2. Why is it important for Muslims to believe in all the prophets?
It is important for Muslims to believe in all the prophets because each one was sent by Allah to
guide people on how to worship Him and live a good life. All the prophets, from Adam to
Muhammad (PBUH), brought messages that helped people understand Allah's will. Believing in
all of them shows respect for the guidance Allah gave to humanity throughout time. It also
helps Muslims understand that Allah’s message is continuous and unchanging, and by following
the teachings of the prophets, they can live a righteous life.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
"The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the
believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers."
(Surah Al-Baqarah)
This verse teaches that believing in all the prophets is a key part of faith in Islam.
BELIEF IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT
1. Why do Muslims believe in the Day of Judgement?
Muslims believe in the Day of Judgement because it is a core part of their faith. On this day,
Allah will judge all people for their actions during their lifetime. Those who did good deeds and
followed Allah’s guidance will be rewarded with paradise, while those who rejected faith and
did wrong will be punished in hell. Believing in the Day of Judgement encourages Muslims to
live righteous lives, knowing that they will be held accountable for their actions. It reminds
them to strive for goodness, avoid sin, and remain faithful to Allah.
2. How does believing in the Day of Judgement affect a Muslim’s life?
Believing in the Day of Judgement affects a Muslim’s life by encouraging them to make choices
based on what pleases Allah. Knowing that they will be judged for their deeds makes them
more careful about how they live, treating others with kindness, honesty, and fairness. It also
helps them avoid harmful actions, as they know that everything they do will be accounted for.
This belief motivates Muslims to work towards earning Allah’s reward by performing good
deeds, praying regularly, and avoiding sinful behavior.
Daleel: Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the time when the truth will be revealed, and everyone will
be judged for what they have done." (Surah Al-Qiyamah 75:6-12)
BELIEF IN THE QADAR IT'S GOOD AND BAD
1. What does belief in Qadar mean, and how do Muslims understand it?
Belief in Qadar means that everything happens according to Allah’s plan and knowledge.
Muslims believe that Allah knows everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen.
However, humans still have free will to make choices. This balance shows that Allah is in control
of everything, but people are responsible for their actions. Muslims trust in Allah’s wisdom and
accept that some things are beyond their understanding. This belief helps them stay patient in
hard times and thankful during good times.
2. What are the views of Jabariyyah and Qadariyyah about Qadar, and why are they incorrect?
The Jabariyyah believe that humans have no free will and are forced to do whatever Allah has
already decided. This is incorrect because Allah gave humans the ability to choose between
right and wrong, and He will judge them based on their actions.
On the other hand, the Qadariyyah believe that humans have complete control over their
actions and that Allah has no involvement in their choices. This is also wrong because it denies
Allah’s ultimate power and knowledge over everything.
In Islam, the correct belief is that Allah has knowledge and control over everything, but humans
are still responsible for their choices. This balance is what makes Qadar an important part of
faith.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Indeed, all things We created with predestination." (Surah Al-Qamar 54:49)
This verse shows that Allah has planned everything, but it does not remove human
responsibility for their actions.
