Bibliotherapy

Bibliotherapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes literature to help individuals cope with emotional and mental health issues, particularly in primary care settings where resources are limited. It aims to promote self-help, independence, and a better understanding of personal problems while being less intrusive than traditional therapy. Despite its advantages, such as minimal administration time and cost-effectiveness, bibliotherapy has limitations, including a lack of suitable materials for certain issues and varying patient engagement levels.
