Q.1) Read the following passage and answer the questions set
below it:
Zeus was the king of the Greek god. He was very strong, all the Creatives
were frightened of him. One day he invited all the animals to a huge feast.
All the animals came.
Zeus was very happy to see his friends. But he did not see the turtle
anywhere at the feast. So the next day he went to the turtle’s house on
the banks of the river. He asked the turtle “Why did you not come for my
feast”? The turtle kept mum. She tried to hide, so Zeus asked again and
than she answered in a soft voice “There is no place like home”.
Zeus was very angry on hearing this and said “If you like your home so
much , you must carry it with you” The turtle felt something heavy on her
back. Only her tail and legs could been seen because now a hard shell
covered her back. Therefore till date all the turtles in the world carry their
homes on their backs.
A) With the reference to the passage do as directed:
1) Find a word in paragraph 1 opposite in meaning to ‘Weak’.
2) Find a word in paragraph 3 which mean the same as ‘strong
feeling of displeasure’.
