Q5: Read the following extract and answer the questions that follow it
When we were young.
We would see a woman pacing through the village path Suddenly stop and
drop her basket of food
Destined for distant village to answer nature's call,
And passers-by would go-by without touching.
But today,
The basket would leap into the hands of youthful grabbers.
When we were young,
We would see a sweating palm wine seller
Anxiously trekking to the market, Place his calabash at entrance to a nearby
compound
Gracefully walk in, to salute and quench thirst with fresh water
And to path return, his calabash smiling with open arms;
But today,
Only an empty spot would be waiting to mock his return

5: Read the extract below and answer the questions that follow: 25marks
Will no one tell me what she sings? Perhaps the plaintive numbers flow For
old, unhappy, far-off things, And battles long ago, Or is it some more humble
lay, Familiar matter of to-day: Some natural sorrow, loss or pain, That has
been, and may be again? What'er the theme, the maiden sang As if her song
would have no ending, I saw her singing at her work, And o'er the sickle
bending; I listen'd, motionless and still;
And, as i mounted up the hill, The music in my heart I bore, Long after it was
heard no more. Questions

Question S: Read the following extract and answer the questions below it.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And
be one traveller, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where
it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear. Through as for that the passing
there Had worn them really about the same
