Scene 1

◆ In school,

Students are going into their respective classes.

Rahul and friends see Anjali pass by.

Natasha: If the sweater can make you look pretty, then the
makeup companies are going broke.

Rahul turns and laughs at Anjali. She ignores and enters her
classroom.

◆ Later that evening,

Rahul and his friends were playing football on the

ground when they saw Amit pass.

(Friend 1)Gaurav: Dekh kon ja raha hai

Amit ignores and start running

Rahul catches him on his back.

Rahul : Kahan ja rahe ho!! Idhar toh aayo. Tera mazak

Principal saw the video

Principal calls Rahul to her cabin

_______ Sir enters and immediately charges Rahul

Sir: Tum yahan kya kar raha ho ? Phir complain aaye hai
tumhare bare meh . This attitude is not acceptable at all

Principal : Good afternoon Sir

Sir: Good afternoon Ma'am. I have come to show you

the marks of 1st internals and Anjali has topped again.

Principal looks at the mark sheet and looks at Rahul

Principal: Please call Anjali

Scene 3
Anjali enters the cabin and wishes and faces downward
Rahul does not even look at Anjali

Principal: Congratulations!! Keep up the good work. I

have a small favor to ask. I want you to help Rahul

Rahul interrupts: But ma'am

Principal: You don't get to say anything. This is your

punishment. (Looks at Anjali) Meet Rahul. Help him if
that is okay with you

Anjali: I will try my best to help

Rahul interrupts: You cannot

Principal: If you say one more word, I will make you the
in-charge of the cultural day program and make you put
up a show

Rahul irritated: this is not fair

Principal: we are way over that. so Rahul I expect a

program from you then and maybe Anjali can help you
with that too

Rahul walks out and looks and at Anjali and says in your
dreams

Principal: Try to put up with him. He is a good kid with

bad influence

Conversation on Messaging

Anjali: Hi Anjali here . When are we supposed to start?

Rahul leaves the message on text

Next day
Anjali: Are you there?

Rahul: Sat, 4:30 pm, Urban bean cafe

Anjali asks her father if she can go out

Anjali: Dad, Can I go to Urban bean cafe to help Rahul

study?

Father: I won’t allow to go out with him alone. Tum usse

Rahul arrives late at 6pm . Anjali opens the door

Anjali arrives knowing her father’s dislike for Rahul. She

nods indistinctly and ask her father to not create a scene

Father : Be good to her and improve yourself . Try to be

Father leaves
Anjali: toh start karne ?[opens her ipad and open julius
caesar]yeh sabse interesting chapter hain

Anjali tries to explain each dialogue patiently but Rahul

keeps wandering off( staring at the pictures and
checking his phone )

Anjali: Agar tumhe interest nahi ha toh

Anjali is interrupted by the phone call of Natasha

(Rahul's ex).Rahul immediately picks up the phone.
Anjali sigh

Natasha: Kaha ho? you were supposed to pick me up?

tum humesha late karte ho

Rahul: Mein Gaurav ki party mein hu. you take a cab or

something

Natasha: Is it ? ( sarcastically). Kyu jhoote bol rahe ho .

Gaurav neh party ke bare meh kuch mention hi nahi kiya
hai

Rahul: your wish . mein kahi par bhi ho tumhe kya !!

Rahul ends the phone and goes back inside

Rahul: So are we done here ? bhut hogaya aaj ke liye

Anjali:Aur 15 mins kar lete hain ek scene khatam ho

jayega

Rahul: Meh ja rha hu

Anjali: Agar asa chalega toh meh nahi padha rahi tujhe
or seminar bhi akele kar lena

Rahul : i will help myself.Anyways tumse padhna bhi koh

chata hai

Anjali is astonished and Rahul leaves

Next Day

Surprise test

Sir: This is a very important test.

Rahul all confused and hardly answers .

Result day

Sir calls both Rahul and Anjali

Sir: This is not at all expected from both of you . [to

Rahul] I thought you were improving but your influence
degraded her performance too. What is up with you
Anjali ? Now I regret my decision for pairing you up.

[to Anjali] You could have done a better job

Rahul could hear Anjali sobbing . He starts feeling bad .

Next Day

Rahul reaches Anjali’s house at sharp 4:30pm. Knock the

door . Anjali opens the door

Anjali : Kyu aaye ho? Kya kaam hai ?

Rahul: I want your help

Anjali : Tumhe meri madat chahiye . You sure !!

Mom: Nahi beta. Bas tu apne dil ki nahi sunta aur bhut
jaldi logon ki baato se influence ho jata hai.

Rahul nods his head. Rahul thinks hard and decides to

Rahul arranging the cords of his guitar and searching
things of what all he can do.
Plays rock music , then slow acoustic
Gaurav and Nishit pass by
Rahul: Guys mujhe tumhari hi chahiye fest ke liye.
Gaurav: Oh dekh bhai kisko humari yaad aayi
Nishit and Gaurav laughs
Nishit: kam Bata
Rahul: Ek song select karna hai , band taiyar karna hai
Gaurav: bhai bhai yeh sab nahi hoga . Hume bhul ja
Both leaves while dribbling ball
Nishit : Natasha se puchle
Rahul: (Any reaction)

Natasha : kya khaega ? your usual cheese maggi !!
Rahul : nahi yaar . Aaj bhut kaam hai . help me out here

Rahul: [ chid gaya] Dekh fest me ek performance hai aur
mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha
Natasha : tu school fest meh kab se involve hone lag
gaya ….. yeh sab Anjali ka aasar hai na

Scene 10

Rahul anjali meet at 4:30pm again

Anjali’s trying to explain something but rahul is
distracted.
Anjali- whats the matter with you? Why this behaviour
again?
Rahul- (absent minded) haan?!
Anj- kya hua? Kuch batana hai kya?
Rah- hmmm… to bat ye hai ki cultural fest k liye muje
kuch samajh ni aa rha. You are my last hope.
Anj- okay! To tu ye bata tuje kaise gane pasand hain?
Rah- I am generally into rock and pop type but yaha nai
chalega. Tu kuch suggest krna.
Anj- (song1)
Rah- No
Anj- (song2)
Rah- No
Anjali (takes out her diary) - I’ve a collection of lyrics’ of
few songs which I like the most. Have a look.
Anjali coughs. Turns around to get her phone.
Rahul keeps turning pages and notices the wish list.
Pauses . clicks a picture and gets back to lyrics’ page.
Rahul (selects 2 songs). Han chal muje samajh aagya
mujhe kya karna hai.
Anjali smiles and rahul gives back her diary.
Conitnue suggesting
They get up and start walking.
….
Rahul- you can check one of your wishes.
Anjali- kya kya? (surprised)
Rahul- you befriended me
Anjali- but you were not supposed to see that.
Anjali walks away.

Next day
Rahul- I didn’t mean to offend you.
Anjali does not respond.
Rahul- now that you have helped me, it is my turn to
return it back.
Anjali- I never want anything in return.
Rahul- this is my way of thanking you.
Anjali- (nods) haaaaaann as u wish
Rahul- would you like to dance with me in the fest.
Anjali- (laughs) muje dance ka D bhi nai ata.
Rahul- uff. I know you can pull off anything.
Anjali laughs loudly.
Rahul admires her laugh
Rahul : Chal tujhe sunset dekha chalta hu
Rahul takes Anjali to a beautiful location
Rahul looks at Anjali while she is admiring the sunset .
she notices him looking at her and says “ Don’t fall in
love with me “ (smiles )

Dance show by Rahul , Anjali and Friends

End of program
Rahul’s dad: Great performance . Lets have dinner
together
Rahul walks away
