PRONUNCIATION
Sentence stress (Trọng âm câu).
Trong tiếng Anh, không chỉ từ mang trọng âm, mà câu cũng có trọng âm. Trọng âm câu đóng vai
trò rất quan trọng, vì khi nói, từ mà người nói nhấn trọng âm cũng như cách đánh trọng âm vào
cùng một từ có thê làm thay đổi hoàn toàn nghĩa hàm chứa trong câu nói. Những từ được nhấn
trọng âm thì thường phát âm to, rõ ràng và chậm hơn những từ còn lại. Quy tắc nhấn trọng âm
câu được liệt kê trong bảng sau:
