Dear Parents
We are pleased to inform all staff and students that Spring Dale Senior School has partnered with Nourish
Nest, a health-focused food service dedicated to offering nutritious, wholesome, and tasty meals to our
school community.
Nourish Nest officially began operations on campus from today and will be managing the school canteen
with a focus on:
     Hygienically prepared meals
Balanced and nutritious menus tailored for students
Reduced use of processed and fried foods
     Fresh, seasonal ingredients
     Exciting, student-friendly meal options
Mission: Nourish Nest is built on the belief that healthy food can be delicious, accessible, and fun. Our
mission is to cultivate healthy eating habits early in life by offering clean, nutritious, and thoughtfully
prepared meals that fuel both the body and mind.
Food Safety Compliance: Nourish Nest adheres strictly to all food safety and hygiene protocols as
prescribed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). All meals are prepared in sanitized
kitchens using fresh, quality-assured ingredients sourced from verified vendors. Staff are trained in safe food
handling practices, and regular checks are conducted to ensure compliance with temperature control, storage
standards, and personal hygiene norms. The goal is to provide students with meals that are not only
nutritious and delicious but also prepared in a safe, clean, and controlled environment. The Executive
Chef/Owner is Red Seal and FSSAI Certified and follows all HAACCP protocols.
Allergy & Dietary Sensitivity Awareness: We are mindful of children with food allergies or dietary
restrictions. Parents and staff are encouraged to inform us of any such requirements so that we can ensure
safe and suitable meal alternatives.
Rotating Menu: Nourish Nest follows a rotating menu system that is designed not just for nutrition, but also
to reflect what students genuinely enjoy eating. Nourish Nest intends to regularly engage with children and
staff to understand their food preferences, popular favourites, and feedback. Based on these insights, it will
curate and amend menus that balance health with taste—offering familiar, comforting dishes alongside fun,
nutritious options. This approach helps encourage healthy eating habits while ensuring that school meals
remain enjoyable and varied.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement: We value feedback from students, teachers, and parents. A
suggestion box, google form and periodic food surveys will be made available to understand tastes,
preferences, and areas for improvement, ensuring our menu evolves with the needs of the school community.
Nourish Nest looks forward to your support in encouraging students to make healthy and mindful food
choices. Let us all welcome Nourish Nest to the Spring Dale family!
