The AGC is based on the LM234 IC. We have used this AGC in our earlier
Bitx kit and also it’s been used in ubitx kits.

Led Mounted- 0.1 capacitor across VU meter for blocking RF pick up

SM2 Brown Wire which is negative on meter and SM1 Red wire which is
positive on VU Meter.

This is the correct wiring. Overlook other pictures as in some pictures wires
are reversed.

Agc Adjustment Flowchart
Note: If you see that on adjusting R3A (50) the vu meter is not showing any
deflection in this case you need to adjust R5 (5K) simultaneously , as you see any
movement in meter needle then adjust R3A for maximum deflection and follow
the rest of the steps.

Follow the adjustment chart from Step 1 to Step 7 for adjusting the AGC.

Vu Meter mounted with screw on top which goes to brass stand and clamp fitting.

Mount AGC module only when you have fully tested the AGC with your receiver
and fine tuned for use.

This completes the assembly of AGC kit.
