I am married for fifteen years we have three boys, the four, seven an thirteen years old, they go to school, my
husband works as a security guard while I study and work.

On weekends I like to take my children for walks, to the park, to waterfalls, to spend time with the family.

Where do you meet your friends?

I usually make friends at university, my children`s school and while working.

Yesterday I worked and took my second midterm exam in psychomotor skills.

You won a competition to visit a new country. You’re going to travel together for one week. Talk together

Narcisa:Hi friend, I won a trip to Mexico city to Veracruz, for a week for two people, would you like to go with
me?

Vale: of course, thank you for asking, I am cry interested in travelling to country.

NARCISA: Have you tried Mexican food?

Vale:I like Mexican food, its spicy flavour especially burritos.

NARCISA: could you look for places we can visit in Veracruz?

Vale:I have found out on the Internet that it has a lot of beautiful places like the aquarium, the cathedral, the
zocalo ¿ What do you think?

NARCISA: Great, everything sounds very interesting.

Vale: friend, but you haven’t mentioned the date of travel

NARCISA: Sorry a forgot to mention, It’s the following Monday, do you have a problem with the date?

Two friends who are happy that after a long time of
dedication, work and saving money they can travel, they are at
the airport, you can see their joy, their tranquility, they are
talking about the things they will do when they arrive.

She is a young woman who recently finished studying


gastronomy and decided to start her own restaurant, she will
demonstrate her culinary talent, creativity and enthusiasm on
her first day at the restaurant.

They are the three finalists who are with amazement,


happiness to see received the trophy at the Olympics, spent a
lot of time to be consistent, take care of your body and train
daily, have a flexible body and innate talent, the three young
women will be recognized as winners.

She is happy with her gown and the degree in her hand, it is
the day of her graduation, and she has obtained the title as
the best doctoral graduate, she always showed constancy,
dedication, wisdom, she is celebrating with her friends from
the university.
Talk about: Rules and recommendations (modals) for the following situations

- A friend of yours is traveling to another country what rules and recommendations would you give for:
accommodation/health/safety/transportation/money/food

- Accommodation
Rule: You must have already booked your hotel in advance, if you arrive early it will be difficult
to find a good hotel.
Recommendation: You should not leave valuables or cash in the room.

- Health and safety


Rule: You must research necessary vaccinations and carry insect repellent and sunscreen.
Recommendation: You should stay hydrated and avoid drinking tap water if it isn’t safe. Also, you
must make sure to know the local emergency numbers.

- Transportation:
Rule: You don't have to trust people, always choose safe and reliable bus lines.
Recommendations: You should better hire tourist vehicles to travel throughout the country.

- Money
Recomendación: You should use a secure digital wallet for most of your payments to minimize the
risk of losing cash or cards.
Rule: You must never carry all your money in one place; distribute it between your backpack, wallet,
and a secure pocket.

- Food:
Rule: You don’t have to be late to the hours established by the hotel.
Recommendations: You should eat in appropriate places when you go out to eat on the street
to avoid any stomach pain.

- A friend of yours wants to practice extreme sports such as: bungee jumping/snowboarding/water skiig etc what
recommendations and rules would you give ?

You should visit your doctor and make sure you are in good health and fit for jumping.
You should maintain adequate hydration and nutricion
You should consider the fear of heights by practicing relaxation techiques before the jump.
