Dear God,

This week was okay kase we didn’t do much at school but quizzes. No PT’s pa masyado
since 2 weeks pa since nag start ang school. Thank you for guiding me always, God. You
guided me throughout this week and I felt happy—-I was just laughing with my
classmates all the entire time.. The school held a Holy Mass yesterday and I was
thankful because I got to talk to you and ask for my forgiveness for my sins. I enjoyed
this week pretty well because of the subjects. We even got to go to the Biology Lab
and Physics where our teachers introduced us to the room and the equipment. It’s
Friday right now and I am typing this because I finished the week with strength that
came from you. I went to McDonalds and ate chicken and I’m so busog—I ate a lot of
rice hahaha! Me and my friends were just talking about random things and we laughed
so hard. That reminded me that you gave me friends that I can count on to, and thank
you for that. Always, and forever.

During the mass, The Gospel was from John 20:19-23, where it says “Jesus appeared
to his disciples after his resurrection. Greets them with "Peace be with you"”. This
homily reflected to me that God gave us minds to explore the world and we all should
love each other and have peace in life and it reminded me to think that ang pag-aaral is
not just about grades. Pag-aaral is not the only thing na need mo i-accomplish or focus
on, there is so much more in this world na need mo pa i explore in order to improve
yourself as a whole person. To this, I need God to guide me to those circumstances.
Lately, It’s hard for me to adjust since school’s back and di pa nag comprehend sa akin
na may klase na. I just want to play video games all day and watch movies/series. I
know God will guide me this semester, that he will lend me his strength and
determination to succeed. I am so thankful for the mass because I get to communicate
with you more deeply—I talked about stuff just like what college life is gonna be. I am
so excited yet sad because my high school life is ending na. I know you will lead me the
way and I am so delighted by that. I also evoked that It’s okay to not be okay—you just
have to do it anyway. By that, It reminded me that sometimes you will be happy and
sometimes magiging sad ka but that doesn't mean that it’s a bad life right? There is
always room for improvement but with God lahat ay magiging okay.

Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty. You are
my strength. Your wisdom shapes me, You are my guiding light and my savior. God,
sorry if I'm a sinner and I haven’t really had the time to talk to you and please forgive
me for all my sins and guide me always. Thank you for always being there for me when
I'm in emotional crisis and thank you for blessing me with a good and loving family
where I can always rely on. Hopefully, for this school year, you will guide me and lend
me your strength. Make me strong when I’m weak and bless my family with good
health and friends and keep us safe from the evils. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love,
Benedict Mhartin
